Smith wasn't the greatest teacher when it came to the actually material subject, but he was one of the best teachers I've had at Mcnally in 3 years. Unlike the majority of the staff, he didn't show any bias against students based on their skin color and only joked around with you if you joked back. He didn't mark easy, but if you went to him for practice papers he acknowledged that. Overall, I loved smith for the person he is, but not tooooo much as a teacher.
Took social summer school. 90 in class, 60 on diploma. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Pretty good at giving/explaining information, also pretty helpful but maybe doesn't give enough examples on how to improve?
Honestly, why is guy being employed as a teacher. I come to school to learn, not be disrespected by a guy that cant teach anything. If you are going to be in his class or in his class i recommend leaving as soon as possible.
Hands down, my favourite teacher at McNally while I was there. He made the subject matter interesting, and rewarded the students that worked hard.
incredibly knowledgable and fair teacher. good sense of humor makes classes interesting and easy to learn in.
He was tough, but fair teacher. His teaching methods and lectures were informative. He will give you a hard time if you miss big assignments though, which is understandable.
Smith varies with different students. But he knows what is going on with the world and more importantly what's going on with us. He's also a pretty really cool teacher to talk to
Bit of a tough marker on essays, but other than that he's great
Down to earth understands us and helped us alot with our homework and assignments, but has a bit too high an expectation
theres more to teaching than haveing fun and being cool. ya gots to have respect
