It is clear that he is very knowledgable and knows the material by heart, however he is hard to follow because his notes are all unorganized and he often gets confused while doing examples and assigning homework. He often forgets what he has assigned and is unclear about procedures when doing labs. He always has office hours which is nice and is very understanding however he is hard to follow during class.

Shaw was one of the best Chem teachers I ever had. He really cares about how students are doing and always leaves his doors open for people to come in for help. Although, if you're not one for repetition then he isn't for you, as he gets very repetitive in his teaching and problems (to get them into your mind), so although it worked 100% for me and got me great marks, if being repetitive isn't for you then I don't recommend. Apart from that he remains one of my favorite teachers!

Knows the course by heart, relays it perfectly to students. Despite being retired, he is an amazing teacher at heart and respects all his students. Preps students perfectly for the exams and makes sure students know what they're doing by assigning 5 minute homework every class to act as a review that he does count for marks. All around, one of the best teachers at abbott

Easily one of the best teachers I've ever had. He really knows his stuff and has ways of explaining things so chemistry seems like it's common sense. Really takes the time to help every one of his students, including extra tutoring during breaks, even nights, weekends, whatever it takes. You can really tell he's been doing this for a really long time, he covers everything he needs to and ends class to the minute when it's supposed to. As long as he sees you make an effort, he'll do anything to help you pass

Shah, as he likes to be called is an okay teacher. His notes are a little hard to understand and extremely difficult to copy when he is standing in front of the board at the same spot and then turns around and eraces the notes he just wrote on the board. He has very good methods to approaching chemistry problems and he has key notes that you might want to memorize so that the tests and quizs will come easy to you. He will frequently have tutorials so that students can go get help if they need it. Helpful!!!

Sha's class is quite easy if all the work is done before hand. Make sure to review everything on a continuous level and there should be no problem. If a problem is encountered then he's always delighted to assist his students. Although if one didn't study and then posed question, prepare yourself for some sarcasm or even honest response that might seem offensive.
