This teacher can read your soul. If he went into politics he would be highly successful. His stories are interesting. Listen to his advice. The homework is mostly on Shakesphere and writing styles. If you avoid listening to him and ignore the homework you will get a C-. If you do the homework it's a guaranteed B. If you put in effort and improve your reading abilities getting a A is no problem. Also don't cheat because he will know. His class will prepare you for college level studies.GOOD LUCK

Mr. Cook is my favourite teacher even though I am now in University. He is so insightful and makes such great connections with readings and influential stories which impact our values, morals, and ways of living today. Mr. Cook has had a massive impact on my life to be honest! His approach to English class in high school was amazing and he made me a better writer.

Very thoughtful, likes to share his opinions and gives you a lot to think about. His classes are definitely interesting. The only thing though however is that he assigns way too little assignments. Although he's very genuine about helping you improve, it's hard to raise your mark since there's nothing to raise it. He's also a hard marker. Advice: Do well in the beginning and ask him directly for his opinion on your writing and how to make it better.

Pretty smart but extremely opinionated. He does not like to be contradicted. He'll give you good marks if you basically rewrite everything he talks about though, if you want easy grades like that.

Pretty insightful guy. Has a lot to tell yea, knows a lot too. Hard marker thou. "I believe only 1 or 2 kids should get an A in my class" or something like that. Really opens your mind. Makes writing easier. Fun teacher

Great Teacher. Would kinda go off topic sometimes, but would talk about very interesting facts and points. Helps improve ideas and 'uniqueness' of compositions.
