She may know her stuff but she absolutely cannot teach. Does not know how to deliver information in her lectures.

Very easy class but don't expect anything from her. You are on your own. Follow the textbook and guaranteed 80+ in this class. The assignments are pretty much a guaranteed 25% of your grade. I finished all of them a month ahead of the final which means I did not have to show up to class during this time. I studied from the textbook and ended up with a 96% in her HTML class. Really recommend that class for anyone looking for an easy 80+

Get a strong background in UNIX before taking this class. She's hard to understand and not very helpful.

I had her for HTML and Internet Programming in F15. Lectures are kept to a minimal (if she does, they aren't clear). You are on your own from day one, and you will be teaching YOURSELF the terminology, as well as how to code. You have three tests (each worth 25% of your final grade (has multiple choice and 1-3 questions having you write out a code on paper)). From my experience, try to make some friends because they can help you if you are stuck somewhere (and teacher won't help). Bonne chance.

You cannot depend on her wholefully for doing the assignments. A lot of the work is technical, and needs to be found out by yourself. She does "not" like procrastinating. Use your lab time wisely, don't stop yourself from talking with other classmates and get used to the language!

She may know a thing or to about the course but, she can't teach. She does not seem to have any control over the class and she does not provide great content during lectures. She barley helps students during labs. She expects everyone to figure things on their own, problem with that is she never taught us anything about the topic in the first place! I did well in this class thanks to the book and Google. Rely on the book rather than her lectures. If you have question, Google/Youtube it.

Don't skip the labs. Read, Study and Learn on your own. Read the book You'll get at least 85% or more

Extremely boring and slow. If you are taking an intro class and you have previous experience, the materials a joke.

Nice person and a good teacher. Her lectures are not exciting, but helpful. Sometimes she just can't unswer your questions though. She will never fail you if you show up and participate.

She knows her stuff, but has trouble explaining things. We skipped all her lectures too because they're so boring. However, she is very nice - we skipped almost all of her lectures, we failed all her tests (30% average), and we all ended up with 60% at the end of the semester... hahahahaa.

Ruth is possibly the worst teacher I have ever had. She seems nice enough, but she DOES NOT FINISH HER SENTENCES!!! Plus she gives exams which are too long. NO!

Has her own teaching style. Does not fully answer questions; gives hints and lets you work at it. She could be more helpful, but this way forces you to learn.
