Ruth does much better with small groups and is very willing to help you if you actually put in effort for her class
In my third year of nursing now looking back on the comment I wrote about her "ear piercing lectures" lol, that part still stands, lol. I am studying for my CAE right now and I couldn't help but remember something she said. "If you know how to break down the words you'll understand them". She is a scatterbrain but she does want you to pass. If you find yourself lost, go see her for a tutorial. She'll do her best to help you.
Super annoying high pitches voice. On the bright side, you learn nothing from her lectures anyway therefore attendance is optional (also, she doesn't take attendance. So). If you're good at learning just from a textbook, no problemo. Super helpful if you need to see her outside of class.
Amazing and very helpfull teacher , go see her to ask questions about the class subject she really helps you.
She has a really annoying high pitch voice. When we're in our class of 90 students, she snaps at our questions. I think the large group makes her feel intimidated. She works better in small tutorial groups, which is where you'll probably find yourself, seeing as how the majority of my classmates learn nothing from her long, ear piercing lectures. She's somewhat a scatterbrain and will tell you point blank when she has no clue what she's taking about. When we've had subs it was refreshing :/
Ruth. She makes sure you pass. She's a lovely person although her lectures get really dry. Know your terms, you'll pass no matter what.
Ruth is a very nice teacher. Speacially, if you don`t understand and ask her to repeat it, she does again and again. Also, she does some extra work for student to understand class work. she is such an
Best teacher ever, I realy love her, she is the best ...
I really love Ruth, She really wants everyone to pass the course, She is the best very hardworker and love her work and students.I see an angel when ever i see her.
Favorite class ever! Very approachable, understandable and nice teacher! She does anything to make you pass and she can be sometimes so funny! She is dedicated to her work and so helpful.
I guess it's not her fault that the material is so tough, but she teaches it the best way she can. She wants everyone to pass. If you failed her class, then she is not to blame, you are.
Very nice. very understanding. Although the course material is really hard, she is always there trying to help you pass.
Anyone who gives Ruth a bad rating is either 1) Lazy, 2) Has poor attendance, 3) Has no appreciation. Ruth gives her heart to her lectures, she will do anything for her students - sometimes more than they deserve! lov u Ruth
She's not easy, and neither is the material. Listen to what she is teaching, ask her to clarify, go to her reviews and tell her what you don't understand and she will make you understand. She's awesome, I loved her!
Best anatomy & physiology teacher ever ! She very understanding , always willing to help, gives lots fo tutorials and everything is in her notes. Impossible to fail her class unless you dont study!
well, ruth is a kind of teacher who wants you to pass. She is considerate in giving 2 points for you to pass. However, she is unorganized and kind of annoying voice. exams are really hard and tricky.
Ruth is an amazing teacher whose realy understanding...beware her courses in bio are not easy u really have to work hard for ur marks
Ruth is amazingly passionate about Biology and a wonderful guide. Classes fly by and are extremely interesting ... she really wants us all to succeed.
So passionate about her subject, really funny, a little unorganized, labs are really fun (anatomy and physiology) tests are sooooooooo hard
This is 100% accurate: She thinks we are biologists and that we should understand everything within minutes! She tells us to study her notes for the final... then three days before the final, tells us not to study them because her notes are wrong... but she just said that so that she wouldnt have to give us an extra mark on the last test! If you are stuck with her... bring EARPLUGS and just read the textbook during class! She litterally sounds like nails on a chalkboard!
Yeah...let's just say the monotonous high-pitched tone actually put me to sleep in several of her classes. I don't read her notes; I practice with the Reece and Campbell CD and I'm passing so far. Very nice woman, but awful teacher.
This semester's average is 58 with Ruth. I only passed thanks to intense cramming and using Martin chance's notes. If you take her, buy the Reece and Campbell Biology book and put lots of effort in to it. Good luck.
she's a nice woman but has no idea what she's doing. she's not very organized and will more often than not give false information. She'll give out questions but when going over them in class won't be able to figure them out. i think she'd fail her own class if she was a student. i'd suggest avoiding this teacher if at all possible
She has no idea what she's doing, has tol the class that she can't do some genetics problems and that her notes are flat out wrong!!! You'll basically have to teach yourself
Very nice lady, she really tries to help but sometimes gives you false information. Test questions can be vague and she doesn't teach you some things on the final.
She is a great teacher, really liked her.Not very organised but still is a good teacher. If you need help ask her and she will.Good teach for ppl that cant spell
shes a lil sloppy in her teaching but shes the FUNNIEST TEACHER EVER im getting marks over 90 with her just pay attention and try to be patient :) it all works
she was so lost in bio. She knows about trees, great! at least she was always willing to help. Nice lady.
She is a little bit of a mess BUT she is not the worse teacher ever, her class av. was higher than Chance's which says alot. Listen and do your work, its bio!
Nice lady, But horrible biology teacher... She read another teacher's notes.... We could have read them ourselves!!!! Take Martin Chance!
nice person, beg for marks she will give them to u, but terrible at explaining stuff, she forgets everything about biology and she"s the teacher!
very kind and very helpful, but it was her first time teaching bio NYA so she only read Chance's notes and had trouble with questions
Excellent, always willing to help, very accomodating!
