You can expect your children to have to teach themselves
She's hard to get along with and if you're the type that judges every teacher based on how they talk with you then don't take her class. If you're the type that cares about your grades and focus on how well a teacher teaches, then you'll be fine in any class, including Ms. Cornale's. She's actually nice; at the end of every unit test (all which are easy) you will see a picture saying "Happy March break" or "Happy holidays" or whatever the occasion is. She also gives stickers.
I learned a lot.
In all my years of meeting my three kids' teachers, I have never encountered a ruder, less helpful person. Our parent-teacher meeting lasted less than five minutes and concluded when we left and immediately went to see the vice-principal. She is a terrible teacher who simply cannot teach. Reviews on this site going back over ten years all say the same. The sad part is that she is still allowed to teach and totally destroy math for other generations of students. She should be fired now.
She expects a lot of her students, but that's not a bad thing. I found her helpful when I needed something explained to me. If you approach her with respect, you will receive respect in return.
She is the type of teacher that makes it so when you wake up on the morning feeling worried and disencouraged, she will give you a sheet and put the same sheet under the overhead. She will write notes at the speed of sound and when you are struggling to keep up and she is done writing the note. She will give a brief explanation, the explanation will be bland and you sometimes will not pick up anything from it. At this point you have to make a decision, keep writing or listen.
Don't ever take her class, this coming from someone who did really well in her class... but you're gonna have to teach yourself everything. And don't ask for help... she won't.
Shes blessed fam.
I have had teachers that I've disliked before, but they still had the capability to teach. Mrs.Cornale on the other hand can't teach at all. She just goes straight through the lesson plan she doesn't explain anything or how she got what she did, once the lesson pages are filled out she doesn't give you any understanding of the concepts. She does the bare minimum and when you ask her for help she yells at you. It's like she's offended you asked for help.Very rude & makes nasty side comments.
She sucks.... not joking
She was a very mean teacher, she had absolutely no patience. She was also grumpy and spoke very quietly. I could not understand much. I don't even know why she teaches. I couldn't even go to her for extra help because she was very rude about it. She had good notes though.
By the end of the semester, you'll play your wrists like a violin.
Allow me to explain her lesson plan
1. Hands everyone a sheet
2. Projects same sheet on from projector
3. Reads the sheet WORS BY WORD
4. "Do page xxx-yyy, questions x,y,z"
My friend, who had her prior to me, told me to switch out immediately once when I told him I had her for functions. I thought he was kidding, I've never been more wrong.
PLEASE, hear my plea. If you or your child has her, switch them out ASAP.
She's very nice and I respect how she only wants better from her students.
She is a good teacher and willing to help but very expressionless and can be mean. As long as you can explain yourself well and use common sense you should do well.
I have never had such a horrible experience with a teacher before. Couldn't understand her with any of the lessons, she was very rude and cold when answering questions and she never really did answer, she'd just rephrase the question in a stern voice. Aside from that, she marked tests very difficultly, she took marks off for microscopic mistakes. I used to get high 90's in math but it changed this year bc of her. No other teacher caused me so much stress and anxiety as she did.
I am not sure how this teacher is still allowed to teach, she should be given a package and encouraged to leave teaching once and forever. Its a nightmare to have her teach your kid, she does not explain, have no patience with kids and gets angry easily. By now, one would think that school would have fired her.
no expressions, no excitement, doesnt like kids, swear she doesnt like teaching, gets angry easily, not very helpful, so rude, other teachers HATE her, not helpful at all. SWITCH OUT IF YOU HAVE HER
sitting in this class is literally painful
she talks to walls, and she talks to herself. enough said. p.s. she is a banana with no legs
shes okay if she likes, you, but if she doesnt, you. are, SCREWED. she likes me luckily, but if she doesnt like you, good luck!!!!!!
Okay, her tests are not hard and all, but SHE DOESN'T EXPLAIN ANYTHING WELL.
ms. cornale is a really mean teacher if you have a bad class, but if you have a good class she can teach really well. only saw one smile the whole semester though
I actually liked her haha, but she's a strange one for sure.
aw, she so bad. if you just do what your supposed to be doing she shouldnt be on your case. shes actually not a bad teacher, i learned alot
Man oh man... she's okay at explaining notes, but is scary when you dont understand. She has a bad attitude and NEVER smiles or makes the class fun... I sort of feel sorry for her
As a parent and educator, I have never encountered a person more unsuited to the role of "teacher". Communication skills with parents are nil; I can only imagine what it must be like to be her student
awful. what else can i say? the worst class ive ever had to sit through. She's the most boring teacher ever to exist! And she can explain anything at all, have fun anyone who has her....
she could make a simple thing confusing. kinda dry, harsh words, but she really is a nice person.
She is much to strict in the way of kids talking during class. She is a difficult marker and will take of marks for petty and pointless reasons.
