Mr. Sperling is a great social studies teacher. He taught me when he was at McNally and he was really good at getting the whole class engaged. He's a very educated, FUNNY and open man, I thank him for this as he has allowed me to broaden my worldview and taught me to consider other people/country's perspective. It's a shame to see him go as he taught me and my sister and we passed with good marks. I don't blame him for leaving and I wish him the best of luck at his new school :)
He's such a beauty, I had him for french 30 at Lillian Osborne. Funny guy, him and I would joke around all the time, he was always really helpful and understanding of things inside and outside of school, overall great guy.
He's a very very nice and funny person, but definitely not a very good teacher by any means. In German class, all we receive is work sheets, day after day. No other teaching on how to speak, or write, read or listen even. A little ridiculous.
Sperling is by far one of the best teachers I have EVER had, He's one of the nicest people I know and is an amazing German teacher. Most favourite teacher? I think so :)
AT LILLIAN OSBORNE NOW, but such a GREAT person. Not the best spanish teacher i've had, but he's still really good.
Funniest guy ever. I had to drop spanish second semester, but he made the first one so easy.
LOVE HIM TO DEATH! Such a good teacher. He made learning spanish for the first time so much fun. I owe my life to him....JUST KIDDING. But seriously, he's amazing. Really funny.
Very friendly and a great all around teacher. Someone I will keep in touch with after high school. Very down to earth and can relate to students astoundingly.
It's too bad Sperls left for a year, he'll be back next year though, back for good times again.
Excellent teacher!! I loved how he actually challenges you to think about the language you're studying.
Coolest language teacher I've ever had. Ahh, good times to be had by all! He inspired me.
