Martinello is easily one of the best teachers I've had in my years at Bennies. As long as you show interest in his class, he'll love teaching you. He's so passionate about what he teaches and just wants to help his students learn. I honestly could not run out of good things to say about this man. Would Give 100 stars if I could.

I had Mr.Martinello for both Grade 12 Law and Grade 10 History. He was great in both! You can really tell he knows his stuff. He often comes off as compassionate even though he has a pretty soft tone throughout the classes he teaches. Please protect this man.

He once told us in law class that he had 'never been proven guilty of murdering a student'. To be very honest, I'm glad that's the case, because he is by far the greatest teacher I have ever had. Humorous, knowledgeable, and a very just man. I look up to him as a father. Great, great teacher, and a great, great man.

Has so much knowledge on the course and is always willing to help you if you need it. If you take the initiative, a 95 in his class is a piece of cake. Not sure how long he can stand all this teaching though, all the old jokes must be getting annoying. Lmao he was really funny, interactive with students, and extremely knowledgeable. Absolute favorite.

One of my absolute favourite teachers, had him for civics, gr 10 history, and gr 11&12 law. He does retell a lot of stories when you have him that often but his stories are often the best part of class. Discussing the news at the beginning of each day was something I looked forward to. I find that even if he has favourite students it's not obvious and they receive no special treatment. He is always very clear about what will be on the exams so make sure to focus your studying. Awesome.

Very odd character. Can be sarcastic but also seems to have the same tone of voice, even when yelling. He's passionate about history and law, although I have only had him for history so far. He enjoys discussions and also to let things play out as they are. Also very understanding if you are having trouble. Knowledge of history is very expansive and can say things on the spot, however it is a bit dated and some of the stuff he teaches you has been refuted- no fault of his own, just times moving.

Easily the best and most imaginative history teacher I've had. Work hard, hand in things on time and show up on time, and the class is not challenging. Has a very broad range of knowledge pertaining to any class topic and is capable of teaching for nearly all learning styles. Likes powerpoint notes (hand cramp warning). Has triangular eyebrows.

I had Mr. Martinello as a teacher about 20 years ago. That's right kids. The time of the dinosaurs. He was an excellent teacher back then. Always had a passion for history/law and made it interesting. And this was the time before the internet. Glad to see that he's still at it. He really made you work for your mark. Thank you, Mr. Martinello.
