Honestly, I love Mr. Vendrig. Everyone says hes mean, strict, rude and what not, but hes actually the total opposite if you're nice to him. I'm upset that hes retiring this year as he is such an amazing teacher. I had him for History and Civics this year. Sure hes rude sometimes, but we all have bad days, don't we? I love Mr. Vendrig. Hes so smart and explains everything SO clear. I feel lucky that i've had him before he retires this year.

Amazing teacher! But its sucks that he is retiring after 35 years of teaching. His last year at DO'C is 2011/2012. You were one of the best teachers that taught me. Going to miss you Mr.Vendrig.

i had him last year for history. he is very strict and likes to give out strict essays. but overall great teacher. he can be very understanding. when my disease hit me last year although i never told him he picked up on it and was understanding about when i would have to catch up on things and stuff.

I had him last semester, and it was great. As long as you put in some effort and stay awake during class, he will love you and it will be a very good class.

Mr. Vendrig was my teacher 10 years ago. Awesome teacher when it came to law. He actually got into case studies. Tell us about his BMW and Bow and Arrow stories. Smart and genuine man!
