Truely a great teacher. He was one of the most laid back teachers ever. I only saw him get angry once and it was with good reason. He isn't afraid to tell you if you are slacking in class and he does it in a way that makes you want to try harder. In retirement he volunteers for meals on wheels, that just shows what kind of person he is.

The most inspiring person I have ever met - even now into third year uni I still look back on my notes and memories from the four classes I took with him. He is sometimes too leniant with students that deserve a smack upside the head, but I'm sure in his wisdom he knows this like he seems to know everything else. Why oh why did you retire, Myers?!
