One of the weakest teachers I've had at Abbott. He's a nice guy, but he really does not care about his job. Hasn't updated the notes in years, doesn't correct anything. Interesting class, would have been awesome to learn it from a prof who cares

I had him for Astronomy and he's a great teacher. I had him for Waves too but he is better teaching astronomy since its his preferred field. He's an interesting person when you talk to him. His tests for Astronomy are not difficult, his Waves tests are difficult but they're fair.

I had him for astronomy and I found it extremely interesting. His notes are well organized and he posts them online. He's also super entertaining in class. His tests and quizzes are ok, just study for them and you should be good. You don't do much in the labs, but at the end he crams them all in, which wasn't too much fun.

Pretty scatter brained. If you aren't good at physics I don't recommend this teacher. He also leaves class for smoke breaks. If you ask him for help he'll gladly help, I just don't know how much you'll actually understand.

Labs are really heavy and his tests are incredibly hard. He knows his subject really well but explains it at a university level. If you can get through his class and his tests you will be well prepared for the final. (Mechanics)

Is there a smear campaign at work here or something? This guy is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's super nice, interested in what he's teaching, and funny. Sure it can be boring and difficult at times, but thats just the course material. He's very fair, so you just do your part and he's a great teacher. I had him for NYC.

Rene is a great guy and a good teacher although he isn't very organized, he rarely comes in with written material he seems to do it all for the first time in front of you. His labs are all over the place although the reports are straight forward and his tests aren't too hard. But expect to do a lot of work with online assignments he is somewhat lazy and corrects only your tests...

he shouldnt be ur first choice, he isnt as bad as ppl make him to be. he doesnt explain properly, kind of all over the place. read the book to understand what is goin on or u will be lost. the tests are not fun at all, one long answer question and 18 calculation multiple choice, so there is no part marks, quizzes every week (not hard). labs are disorganized, no one knows what goin on, even Rene doesnt know whats goin on either. the lab reports are super easy, just be very brief and simple and u'll do good,

He's quite a funny guy, but as a Physics teacher he could be better. I think he's better lately and I like how he drilled the slit-pattern stuff into our heads. However, the fact that he randomly gives quizzes and expects us all to JUST do Physics work during the week is bad. Science students have more than just Physics to do.
