I had to put in a crazy amount of work in this class but I took so much out of it. "When a system at equilibrium is subjected to a stress, the system will readjust so as to relieve the effects of the stress". That is one of the many things I remember from that class and although it was a hard class in the end it was worth it. Plus he's a hilarious guy

Did poorly in his class, didnt really put the work in. You have no one to blame but yourself. Looking back, wow that was a great class. Learned way more from him than 95% of all those teachers. Talking more than just reading off a textbook, if you have the chance take this mans class. thank you for the experience, Mr. Krevs

I took away a lot more than chemistry lessons from his class, but lessons on life and religion that i still think back to this day. Hard work pays off, without it ull get nowhere in this life believe me. krevs is a cool teacher and hes also jokes.thanks for everythin sir and i know you read these too haha. it was a honor.

The only thing I remember from Chemistry is that enthalpy is a state function. But from what I remember from his class I could write pages and pages. I had to relearn everything from scratch in university but the habits and the mindset that he inspired me with are so valuable. His lessons on life, faith, and common sense will teach you more than his lessons on chemistry (which are really good). He's not only a good teacher but he's also a good man.

Mr Krevs is tough, but a really good teacher. He actually teaches - not like 3/4's of the science teachers at Brebeuf. Look at their ratings. It says it all.

I HATE MY LIFE when im in his class. he makes the simplest things difficult and has you print your handouts at home. if ur gonna be in his class, get a printer and ALOT OF INK. he's a very tough marker, way to picky on your work and pretty much enjoys to watch you suffer through his class. if you are in his class, think hard if you REALLY NEED his course for your future.

I'm glad he was difficult. Isn't that what real life is? I graduated 5 years ago, and he is still one of the most important teachers I have ever had. I had him for Gr. 12 religion, science isn't my thing. But I found him helpful and appredciated the fact that he would stay after class, for an hour sometimes, to answer questions I had.
Just like in real life, do the work with absolutely everything you got, ask for help when it's needed, and you'll do well.

I had no issue with the workload even though it was ridiculous for high school. My only issue was the marking which precluded a number of very bright kids from getting into engineering or other school / program of their choice. This was in 1987 so perhaps things have changed but it seemed a personal attempt to address mark inflation was more self serving that student serving. In any event the world has one more lawyer than engineer as a result. Some might argue that the world is not better off for it.

Great teacher. I got a low mark in his class, but honestly I deserved it. Sir you were right, if we do the work we will get a better mark. You learn more then just chemistry in his class, you actually learn about life and its purpose/meaning. For people that will have him in the future, make sure you do the work and take everything in that he says
