If you are not a 90 average student and feel confident in math, switch out. He slaps a textbook on you desk you never use, yet he insists you bring it to class. I personally have never been the best at math, yet still understood it. yet in mr.tsangs class, I had no idea what was going on because he refused to teach. I passed his class, but i don't feel like I've learnt anything.

Mr. Tsang wasn't a great teacher. He was a good person, but he was very easily distracted and didn't teach much during lessons. If you're good at math, his class is sort of neat because he never checked homework and didn't really teach, but if you're struggling in math, his class isn't one you would want to be in. Most classes he would be talking about math for less than 30 minutes because of how distracted he could get.

TBH I didn't get his jokes at all.. He basicly throws a package to you and you will do it most of them without his explanation. It always takes him 30 - 40 mins to let the class "settle down" and at the end of his every class I felt that I learned nothing. If you are not good at math DROP IT! or you are screwed
BTW he will only be nice to students he likes or his favorite. If you are the one he doesn't like, you will barely get a respond when you ask him questions.

I'm just going to get this straight, I was a straight 90 student in math my whole life (including my year in his class). Once you get out of it I realized that he literally taught me nothing, and I can't complete a review package from a different teacher. Unless you're one of those kids that cheat the system and learn the math before hand, you are screwed for years to come.

Teacher? He doesn't teach at all! But he's super friendly and fun to be around. If you learn math outside of school, you'll do just fine, otherwise, you're screwed. Always gives us 10 minutes (which often ends up being 30 minutes) to "settle in." Never uses the textbook, not a lot of homework.

Mr.Tsang was actually a lot better this year than last year when he didn't really do much. This year he actually teaches you stuff except he just kind of.. Takes his time teaching you ONE thing. He's either in a hella good mood or in a hella bad one. He might not answer your questions or respond to you often if you are not his favourite student or you're just a student that he dislikes. But overall I'm learning the things I'm supposed to and I'm understanding it so I ain't complaining.

its not that he cant teach, its just that he doesnt. his tests r super easy but considering he doesnt teach, theyr hard. he spent like the first half hr of most of our classes just letting us "settle into the class" and "get prepared" so we were super behind in all the lessons. if u rlly ask him to help u, hes decent at explaining, so if u hav him, either get a tutor(which is what I did) or bug him everyday after class

He choses favourites and if he doesn't like you he will not answer your questions, but when his "favourite" asks him a question he will sit down and fully explain to them for 10 minutes. Completely unfair! Close to failing this course even when I'm actually trying to understand the material.

He was the worst teacher i've ever had. Every question I asked that he didn't know the answer of he avoided the question. He never used the textbook and never taught real lessons. Just handed out work sheets and only the kids who did math outside of school could do them. I barley passed. Transfer out asap. Yes, he is very funny, but he's not a good teacher.

The most adorable teacher ever. If that is even the right word to describe him LOL. He's nice and not strict at all. He likes to joke around and is friendly but when it comes to teaching, yea, nope. He doesn't really teach much haha. He just gives worksheets and we NEVER used the textbook. But if you're decent in math you'll probably be fine. You have fun but it gets super overwhelming when he stares at you while you work.

Mr Tsang is quite simply the funniest teacher in all of mankind. If you're decently smart, you'll do alright in his class. Be prepared to self learn though. He blabbers a lot, it's true, but if you like his sense of humour, it's all good. And his tests are pretty easy too. (y)
