Was in his history class at Thomas A. Stewart in Peterborough in 1977. Still remember that first day when he arrived late to class, burst through the door, tripped over a garbage can and went sprawling. He got up quickly, limped out the door into the hallway in pain. He reappeared 10 seconds later, perfectly normal and told us to write down everything we had just witnessed. What a lesson in the recording of history & the inaccuracies that arise. Murray Metcalf (TAS Class of 79)
Mr. Winslow was the best teacher I ever had. He cared deeply about his students and made me want to be a history teacher. I hope I can be half as good a teacher as him!
