I had him a few years (almost 4) back when I was in high school for CS. I really liked him. He actually believed in me.Very knowledgable. He taught me about Alpha Beta pruning which is something I'm using today quite often learning game theory. -Arvind
He is a bit picky and if you aren't looking at him or don't have above a 90 in his class he will pick on you when he's doing a lesson
Wray was a decent teacher in computer science. I've found the other computer science teachers to be a lot more helpful when it came to certain things, but Wray was definitely knowledgeable in his own way. He is VERY picky about coding though, so if you get him, make sure you never do lazy code!
I never liked how he taught math. I wouldn't ask him for help because when I did, and I didn't understand the first time he explained, he would just get annoyed and frustrated, so it provoked me from asking questions. Also, while he's teaching a lesson, he would always pick on the students who don't have their hands up or don't understand the concept he is teaching, and just make us look plain dumb & it made me really anxious. That's why I wasn't motivated to do math with him.
First time I had him for programming I almost failed because I didnt ask questions or pay attention and I thought that he was a bad teacher because of it.
Last semester I sat closer to the front, did all the work, payed attention, and found that he is really an entertaining teacher who explains things rather well and is very helpful when you ask questions.
ASK FOR HELP IF YOU ARE CONFUSED. He WILL help you!
