Peggy is a sweetheart :) She is a really good person and is willing to help you. However, she is not a really great teacher because she assumes we know everything. If you're someone who is organized and can learn by yourself at home, her class is okay, but if you need to understand the material in class, you should try to switch for another teacher. I had Peggy for E&M and I have to say the material IS REALLY HARD and I struggled a lot, but I still passed :) Peggy gives a lot of part marks!

Peggy is SUCH a sweet teacher. She's very willing to help when you have problems + is flexible with office hours. I got a decent mark (high 80s) only because I did well on her assignments, tests + went to her in her office. In the end, they were too easy in comparison to the final. She doesn't use the book much asides from the suggested problems every teacher gives and is a little confusing with her notes and classes. Self-study time and seeing her during office hours are very important w/ her!!

Peggy is a very sweet lady, but not a great teacher. Her notes are all over the place, with examples that she starts but doesn't finish (assuming everyone understands). Also, her tests are very very easy and did not prepare me well for the final at all. She's always willing to help and answer questions after class and in her office though. Even at that I would not recommend her, Dawson has better physics teachers (though it has far worse teachers as well so watch out).

Peggy!!!!!!! :) She is so sweet and really cares about her students. Her class is mainly doing problems which some people have a problem with, but I find that's the most effective way to teach Physics. She is a great teacher and is always willing to help in office hours. She is a super nice lady and if she sees you're struggling or she sees you care she will definitely help you out! Her tests arent too bad but the final was a killer so make sure to do well on the tests and homework! GO PEGGY GO!

If you get Peggy Simpson as a teacher, switch out of her class or drop the course. She is disorganized in the way she sends class notes. Not only are her explanations unclear, they're also inaudible because she finishes every sentence in a mumble no one can hear or understand. Had to teach myself the material with the book, going to her class is absolutely useless in the sense that she won't teach you anything there. If you get her as a teacher, you'll be wishing she retired earlier. Good luck..

She is such a nice lady and is always there to offer help. If she sees you're struggling she does everything she can to help you out. Unfortunately, she is very unclear when teaching and doesn't explain well at all. She's great if you are able to learn the material on your own, but if you are the kind of person who needs to understand in class, she isn't the teacher for you. She appreciates hard work and effort though, even if you don't do well.

Her tests are okay. I am a studious student and I found her very unhelpful. She does problems directly from the book. The book was my savior. I just wish Dawson had SOME good physics teachers..

Peggy's a really nice woman and everything, don't get me wrong, but I don't think she's a very good teacher. I got over 90 in her class, but I had to learn most of the stuff on my own and read the text book. Bonus question on tests and assignments can be in late, but when she explains stuff on the board it's pretty hard to follow what she's trying to say.

Really cool teacher. Can hand in all assignments late and she won't take marks off. Very understanding--but I wasn't able to follow lectures very well. Then again, I'm not all that good in science. However, if science is your thing, take her! She's super-friendly and approachable. She'd explain things over again clearly if you ask. Two thumbs up!!!

You can basically hand in all of the work for the entire semester on the last day, or even after!, tests are hard but it's an easy pass because she will give take home tests, doesn't take attendance, you don't have to show up
