I will NEVER forget the year she was my senior english teacher and she used the word retarded over and over to describe a child with down syndrome in a story we were reading. How ignorant that an English teacher can't find a more appropriate word.
Always trying to help students. Always has advice to give. And gives somewhat positive criticism
All around disliked her as both a person and a teacher.
lol about her editing. if you wanted something edited before you sent it off for a scholarship who would you want to edit it for you. the thing is that she actually shows you how to edit things yourself.
i like her as a person to talk to, but when it comes down to her marking you as a student nd her editing, it feels like she is tearing you apart and wants to break you down. she is defintaly a hard te
ss was not easy. maybe just this teacher but it was harder than i was expecting it to be. met some interesting ppl and haygarth was okay but defiantly not an ez credit.
Very fair. some creative assignments (crest for KL and scene presentation). I also liked chapter charts instead of chapter questions. An interesting way to spend a July. I hated the heat!
She started me healthy essay writing, the poet's marketplace was probably one of my favourite projects I ever did, the magazine design project was very creative as well, good times in that class.
i love patti, she changed my outlook on school and made me want to go forth with University. She is hard teacher, but i have learned so much from her teaching. PAAAAAAAAAATY
so glad im in ur class again miss :)
