I really enjoyed her. If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would have succeeded. Yes she was easy but I found her effective in her teachings. Prior to her, I had Mrs. Thompson in Jr. High and she was a hardass. It was refreshing learning from Patti.
She also was very human and loved her diet coke!
One of the greatest teachers I've ever had. A joy to be her student. She truly cared for her students and above all, was human. She never forgot the human in us students as well and she felt like a mother in her willingness to support students both academically and ever on a personal level if you decide to trust her. A fantastic person and a great teacher with a real passion for what she teaches. Remember to pronounce bury as "berry" and refrain from using words like "art" or "fart".
I remember the old days where I kept thinking she's just bad instead of doing some work to shape my writing. If you follow and do your work, in the end she makes you to be a quite decent writer :)
only good part of class were when she brought her daughter in ;)
If you like a teacher that texts under her desk, talks on her cell in class, and brings her daughter in for a little gab session then shes the teacher for you!! I didnt learn a think from her.
Such a ditz. Doesn't explain anything, forgets about assignments, loses stuff you've handed in. She talks the whole class and doesn't listen to any of your ideas. I didn't learn a thing in her class.
She is very easy and laid-back. You can come into class 30 minutes late and it'll be okay if you bring her food--frosties are key. Just be nice and you'll do fine. Good class to be in. =)
haha oh mrs clancy, she so forgetful and she talks alot so you really have to pay attention but yeah shes a pretty good teacher.
She was a solid teacher, but most of her classes were really repetitive and boring such as reading a book for the whole class everyday for 2 weeks really had me skippin classes.
A little absentminded (losing our essays... twice!), but interesting class!
