Mr. Alvin's Honors World Civ was really easy compared to the alternative (Romeo). That being said, his grading system is whack and he'll circle things, write "OK", and then take off anywhere from 1-5 points. He's really funny, (most of the time), but sometimes when he's having a bad day he can snap at any moment. He's not the best teacher however, his explanations are informal and sometimes lacking in detail, and I'm not even sure he offers extra help. You'll really learn things from studying.

Mr. Alvin might seem like an easy teacher, but because he 90% of the time has no idea what he is doing, you have no idea what he wants from you. Don't underestimate his requirements because he grades harshly. When in doubt, add mumbo-jumbo.

Easy teacher, love him. Weird but somehow funny sense of humor. Sniffs markers. He's an awesome mid day relaxation.
