I really enjoy Ms. Fridman's class. I don't get why people don't like her tho. Honestly, she is an extremely nice teacher if you respect her. If you don't listen to her or disrespect her, she could be a little mean(I mean I would be too). Her teaching is pretty good except the fact that she has a Russian accent. She tries to explain the concept of each chapter and she gives us lots of practice problems too. She would not care if you don't do hw. But it is very very helpful.
I usually give teachers good reviews but this one is absolutely horrible! Doesn't teach, skips questions she doesn't know how to teach (30% of them), sleeps during test/quiz/summative presentation, walks out of class 15-30 minutes before end of class, incoherent in explanation, useless in extra help as she simply restates her steps to the problem. If you are talented in Math- you can should skip her classes and show up during assessments. If Math is not your strength, switch out or find a tutor.
The teacher does not seem to want to teach. If a student does not quite understand her explanation, she gets frustrated (showing explicitly). This must be one of the reason why she does not teach so well. She also never admit when it is clearly not the answer.
When I had this teacher for grade 12 she was gone for like half of all classes. She is not helpful, not reliable and she always makes mistakes when marking people's tests. When she cannot solve a question asked by students, she would just give up instead of trying to find a solution like other teachers would do for their students. Ms. Fridman is not a good teacher. However she would be a good chatting buddy if you go to class just to socialize and not to learn.
She's not the best at teaching, and she's not very clear with her methods and concepts, either, but she's not a bad person. If you talk to her and don't give her bad attitude, she'll like you and chances are she'll give you a better time in class. She's also kind of socially awkward haha
In Grade 9, my favorite subject was Math because I'm good at it. The teacher changed through the year and I still enjoyed it as much. Ended with 90.
In Grade 10, my least favorite subject was Math because of Ms. Fridman. Ended with 60.
I don't even need to like the teacher to succeed, I just need a teacher. Goes to show that Ms. Fridman isn't one.
shes a bad teacher, if you get her ..... HA your screwed!!!
She's improving and she's a much better teacher if you have her in Gr.12 since all tests are standardized. If you have her in gr.11, her tests are pretty difficult. If you talk to her you'll realize that she's a nice person. She's a chill teacher, you can miss her classes and she wouldn't care.
She's not a bad teacher overall even though she's kinda strict sometimes Sometimes she's horrible at explaining stuff but it's your responsibility to make sure u understand she does talk on her phone sometimes and thats pretty annoying and her organization is pretty poor (she always forget stuff)
Possibly one of the worst teachers I've had. Her examples are extremely easy but when it comes time for a quiz they get ridiculously deep into the topic even though it is still freshly engrained into our brain. Also quite unprofessional.
She always leaves during the class for casual strolls to the math office. She's always late and leaves class early. Always talks on the phone. She's very good at math, but it's difficult to understand what she's explaining. She gives quizzes only a few classes after you learned a topic and it's difficult to get full marks, it's hard to convince her to change them back. When she teaches she moves too quickly and erases everything while you're still writting. She's a nice person though
She is very knowledgen teacher and I glad that I have her as math teacher
I found her tests very easy, but the problem is that she doesn't teach at all. So, you gotta study yourself with the book.
While her class wasn't hard in itself, I had the end of the day class, which meant she would go out the last 30 minutes of the class, and just...not be there for any of the students. Especially since it was a work period and she's SUPPOSED to be there to help, not go out for a smoke or something.
i dont understand what shes trying to say and when we learn something new she eplains it in such a way that is impossible for me to understand and i only start to understand it when i go to my tutor. i have never done so horribly in math before she came along. she picks up her phone in the middle of a test and starts to talk while the class is trying o concentrate... its like hullo?! and her phone isnt even on silent its on an obnoxious loud pace
Guys, calm down. Ms.Fridman is actually really nice. DON'T be scared! She's really understanding and helpful if YOU show some respect for her. I am having her for AFCALC but unfortunately I had a timetable change and I no longer have her. But really, pay attention in her class and LISTEN to her words of wisdom, you'll ace her class without a problem. I'm talking low to mid 90s here.
She can be cranky at times, but if you be nice to her first, and not do anything to get on her nerves, she'll like you! She's not a bad teacher actually, you just have to pay attention. She's really sweet and friendly if you get to know her. And shes really good at math too. She's definitely not the worst teacher in the school.
All you have to do is pay attention in her class.. but I can never understand things she teaches for some reason, and one time, I asked her what exactly the question on the test means, and she just looked at me and sighed. THAT'S ALL. SHE JUST LOOKED AT ME AND SIGHED. Like, are you gonna help me or what?
I think she is a wonderful teacher, she is really smart, smarter than people give her credit for. She is also a really easy marker, sometimes you will make a mistake on a test but she will mark it perfect. Really an excellent teacher :) thumbs up
doesn't know how to teach..skip if u can..but mid 90s are possible
....god..reli reli hard tests...i got 94 in gr.9 and got 60~80 in her class =0...but i guess i learned more than other classes....shes really cold to me,and my other chinese friends...= =...be a quiet nerd is the best way if u hav her.
accent issue aside, the woman makes no sense. she makes no effort to explain things clearly and she doesn't care if you're failing. she is short tempered and leaves the class all the time for no reason. in grade nine i was getting 80's in math; in grade ten i had her and got a 44.
she favours sooo much. its funny. her lessons are horrible, her tests are difficult and she puts stuff on them that no one knows. she's gets angry WAY to much. but i must say she's nice outside of class, and when you're not talking about how u're failing her course...i guess shes sorta funny too...haa
I think shes a good teacher. Shes calm, relaxed, doesn't give out too much homework, despite the fact her English isn't that good, but still she is trying. You can't say she isn't good. C'mon shes nice and the best!
i find that i uderstand more from asking a friend than asking her. many people who are not good at english will have trouble understanding what she is saying.
She is not an excellent teacher but comparing other teachers she establishes basic theories very well! For harder things she gets lost!
Even though she failles u or doesn't give you the right average, after you leave her class you realise that you've achieved a lot of knowledge!Extra help is really usefull and she help you to think the problem and get the concept more clear!
In terms of teaching she is a bad teacher! but I like her cause she is gangstah!
She has a good heart! even if some students are insuccessful she isn't making them feel bad she is always encouraging them!
go go go go go Miss Fridman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fail everyone !!! This would be the coolest thing u can do!
I think she is the best teacher if you listen to her instructions and its all about if you do ur hwk.
She is the best teacher from the high school! I really like the way she teaches math, my opinion is that she has a very good university preparation from Russia, she is a very polite and educated person, she is always answering in a nice way,and I think she is the real value of the school! Earl Haig should be proud of having her as a teacher, but unfortunately students are not that objective enough and they don't realise what good mathematical education they receive from her!they don't really know who she is!
i didn't like her she goes out of class to get her coffee or apple for half the class
She teaches the right thing, but most of students don't get her teahcing sometimes. She should be more organizable before she teaches a new topic.
I think she is a good teacher~!In my math class, almost all the students like her.
Okay, so what it is children??
Darn it u say " what is it? " learn some grammar woman!
She's okay. A bit on a strict side, and is usually unclear.
i think shes nice but i really cant understand the things she teaches.
what's wrong with this picture? summer school class has a 57% average. it's summer school, that should be a breeze!
a really nice person but she cant really explain anything.if u ask her how to solve a ?and she doesnt kno how 2 than she'll say u dunt need 2 kno how to.. funny
She may be smart...but she can't teach. Every one else in my class are practically failing. A bit unreasonable sometimes too.
wonderfull person, who was never meant to teach! as a friend she's great, but don't expect to pass unless you're a genius in her class!
she's ok...but she gives A LOT of math hw but never marks it..and...when am i getting my test back!??!
She's nice, but I she's very unclear when it comes to teaching math.
nice person, but unclear when teaching. not helpful; often does things the long way.
the worse teacher that I have seen in my entire life
