Had him for Unix I
The one piece of advice I can give is to absolutely pay attention to everything he says. He's a wonderful teacher with a good sense of humour and a firm grasp on the subjects he teaches. He's passionate in his field and if you are too, show him and he'll be happy to help you any time.
There's no textbook for this course. USE THE MAN PAGES.

Great teacher, you will learn a lot if you are interested in embedded systems, however be prepared to study on your free time as he expects you to put in a lot of effort.
However it pays off as you will have more knowledge of embedded systems than a lot of university level students.
Good teacher but his exam difficulty is too much, he expects you to know the material as well as he does.

I'll be brief but concise. Teacher that knows his material. Comes late often. Has temper problems. Good lectures, uses the full 2 hours. His exams are overkill. The weekly labs will take you on average 5 to 8 hours of work and that is if you know you material. One the of the worst teachers that I have ever had even though I learned a lot. His bad side, and his subjective behavior made me regret my decision to enroll in this program. And yes, it is a popular opinion among students. Believe me.

Very cool teacher, professional and respectful. He knows his subject very well, but expects you to know it as well as he does when he writes an exam. His labs will take you 8 to 10 hours to do, each week! He will treat you with the respect you treat him with.

Best programming teacher I ever had. His lessons are very entertaining and you learn a lot in a two hour class. His tests are hard but if you'll study you'll be fine. Very approachable. If he sees you work, he'll try to pass you. Call him Mr. Markou.
