He has a lot of quizzes which suck but it really helps to see what you know and don't know. His exams are hard but if you don't understand something he really tries to help you and genuinely cares.

Just do your homework and everything will be good. He is a truly awesome man though. Especially his examples with Greek people. Opa!

Seems to care...until you actualyl need help. Stubborn. Won't budge. DO HOMEWORK always! tests are WAY to hard. Not understanding enough

the only years where i truly understood math was when he taught me. he made me do my work, too. i miss him. teach first-year university calculus, mr dais!

he's a good teacher. it makes me stay on top of my homework and review constantly becuase those quizzes never stop coming, ever.

Good teacher. Taught us to take our own notes and be independant. makes science class interesting. tries hard to be nice and teach us to use science outside of class.

when ur teaching science, TEACH science, not math, and PLEASE use ur own exam.. good teacher overall, still dont get the random '2' worksheet tho :P hope i have him in math in the senior grades ;)

hes actually pretty nice. math is a lot more clearer with him. and when hes checking your homework, its acutally helps you in the long run. so do your hmk!

A great teacher...really cares about his students and attempts to keep us interested through humour and references to greek mythology :)...tests weren't too bad just prepare well

had so much fun in both math & calc with mr. dais! sure he talks about greece a lot but most of it is actually quite interesting... he taught my 2 fave classes!

He lets us vent about other teachers and he teaches us about how the Greeks invented everything. And something about a dentist and calculus.

i luv mr. dais! super nice! and super understanding..he lets us spazz out about other teachers...and he boosted my mark my 2 percent! mathletes 4eva!!! Grad 03!

Dais rocks. His teaching method is great - I went from having 75% going into gr. 11 and left high school with 96% thanks to him :)

LFA has great senior teachers, and this is one of them. TAKE CALCULUS AP, it will spare you a lot of pain in first-year.

he talks about greece. and his tests are multiple choice. thumbs up, but he's only nice if yr good (i used to have 97 then dropped to 86. he's not as nice)

He's a really nice teacher if you're a good student. In my class, no, but that's all my doing. I like his frequent references to Greece
