She did not cover much of the test material in class and she gave crazy amounts of homework with little time to do it.

I liked her a lot! I won't lie, she's quite hard. If you do well in the quizzes, she will love you. She tends to be bias so it's important to do well in her quizzes. Her exams are brutal just because there's not enough time. I recommend going to see her in her office before exams. She sometimes will give you the questions in advance. Her expectations are quite high. I did enjoy taking the course. If you have a heavy course load you might want to take a class with less assignments, readings.

so yea A LOT of work, if youre in a course like sciences avoid her because her class takes up so much of your time at home. If you do end up with her, go to class because she offers about 15% of the mark in class and you get really easy bonuses and before her tests GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS she will literally give you the questions before the test. You learn a lot but her class is tough, if youre not prepared to do give a lot of attention to a humanities course, dont take her

Had her for Political ideologies. If you do all the work (which there is a lot of) it's not that hard to get a good mark. Some classes were fun but most I hated.

She may be a hard marker and may ask for a lot, but this is college not high school. The topics she brings up in class really made it interesting and made me want to go to every class. She very willing to help and as long as you don't slack and put in the work you'll do fine

I basically had a breakdown because of her class. She expects you to read 50 pages and 5 pages notes for almost every class, plus she gives 2 questions on the exam that are extremely vague and you need to write 8 pages long to answer them. ALOT of people fail the class. I am failing and my grades are usually 80%.

She's the definition of pure evil. She's funny but doesn't know what she's talking about most of the time. Very not clear about the concepts and what she expects of you. Exams are waaaay too hard. She wants you to write over 10 pages in 1h15 if you don't, you will probably fail. Plus the textbook is full of typos and the author constantly repeats himself, which confused you even more. People who wrote good reviews about her were her favourites. DROP HER CLASS IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't listen to any of those reviews about her. Those students obviously didn't do any of the work or pay attention. She gives you the exam questions beforehand and tells you exactly which pages to study in the text book. She is kind and compassionate and gave me so many extensions because she cares about the well being of her students. I highly recommend! Love this woman! I am taking her again for humanities 103!

I had her on political ideologies and she is by far the hardest teacher i've ever had. She is sometimes funny but her exams are brutal. Be prepared to memorize the text book content and write 1.5 booklet in 1h15min or otherwise, be prepared to fail the class. You should go to her office or seriously it will be worse.

Do not take her! Her tests are WAY too hard and her expectations are super high. She expects you to memorize the textbook and write 1.5 booklets worth of stuff on the test and picks out every detail. Coming to class is useless because as fun as she is to listen to, she goes way off topic and doesn't cover what we need for the test. Also, she loves talking about how rich she is. Even though she is 'preparing you for college' don't take her or pray for your R score.

Initially, I wanted to review her after the entire semester, however this class has nonetheless made me want to bring a knife to my throat. This class is not difficult, it's brutal. To whoever has said they've liked her, its' because they were her favourites. If you aren't her favourite u r f*cked my friend. Her expectations are higher than snoop dog and she LOVES to mother her students. She's teaching a class on her opinions and don't you dare disagree. SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR TRANSCRIPT.

She is the worst teacer i've ever had! Her humour and attitude are very strong and sarcastic. If your not able to write at least one bocklet in a 1h15 min with ALL THE POINTS YOU SHOULD MEMORIZE from the book, then you will fail.

Her personality isn't so bad, but she fails as a teacher. She doesn't actually teach you anything and she wastes time to get students to wait in line to pick up handouts and sign their name. She just expects you to read the textbook and the handouts that she gives you and memorize everything and then do the exams. She doesn't actually do any lectures or teach you. Take her if you want to be able to simply read a complicated textbook and teach yourself.

Had her for Ethics and I'm certain many of these ratings are from students who barely showed up and listened very minimally in class. Nancy is a great teacher, opinionated yes, but it is worth listening to because her words make the textbook much more easy to understand. Study, reach the assigned chapters and you will do fine! She is actually super nice and easy going and will help you if needed. Definitely recommended!
