He's a good teacher, but his exams are extremely hard (among the hardest, and they don't prepare you for the final that much tbh). If you're generally struggling with sciences (especially physics), you'll have a really hard time doing well on his exams.. :/ but he's cool

I had Nadim for astrophysics and he is honestly one of the best science teachers I've had at Dawson. His explanations are crystal clear and he'll do anything for you to understand the material. I could easily tell that he loves teaching and he makes everything sound interesting. I loved going to his class! His tests are hard but if you study hard you'll easily ace the course! I totally recommend this teacher!

I had him for NYC and he was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and is really passionate when he teaches; he is one of these rare teachers with whom you actually learn. His class is not easy, but he cares for his students and will help you if you need, I totally recommend and i would take him again if i could!

He's extremely knowledgeable + very good at explaining BUT, his tests are very hard if you haven't done all the problems at least 2x. Still, his method prepares you well for the final. If you make a real effort, you will know the material extremely well. If you do take him, have your notes ready before class (or read the textbook before) so you can appreciate his great explanations. DO NOT FALL BEHIND, CONSISTENCY IS CRUCIAL WITH HIM.I took NYB with him even though i only got 64 in his NYC class

Nice guy and good teacher but I hated the class regardless. He was too unorganized for my liking and tests were a little hard and just didn't enjoy class. I would take him because he is a super good teacher and prepares for the final but overall i wouldn't re-take him.

Well... Nadim. He is a very nice guy and he made class interesting. He isn't very organized which can be annoying. His exams and quizzes were very difficult in my opinion. But again, I cannot hate him because he was very nice. I'd say that if you are good in physics absolutely take him. If you aren't like me... well, if you aren't horrible you can do ok in his class tests and do well on the final since he prepares you well for it or just take another teacher.

He is a good teacher and because of him I understood the material perfectly, but as a teacher I found he was all over the place. He wasn't the most organized person and never posted marks on LEA and took forever to get marks back to us which I found was annoying. He is somewhat hard and somewhat prepares you for the final but I still found the final was harder than his tests which was disappointing.

I looked at his rating and thought that I was in safe hands...Guess I was wrong! He didn't get us a textbook which I think everybody would of needed one...His power points are not full so you need to attend class (every single one of them!). He goes fast on many topics and sometimes takes forever on small ones (his distribution of topics is quite horrible). Its really difficult to to stay focused in his class and sometimes I wonder what I'm doing in his class. Don't recommend him at all.

He's a nice guy and his explanations are quite clear. I had him for waves and he posted all the notes online, meaning I didn't have to take my own. He's approachable but his tests and quizzes were a bit challenging. Just understanding all of his notes isn't necessarily enough to do well, you should do the practice examples in addition, especially if you're weak in physics. Do all the suggested problems and you should do well.

Very sweet physics teacher. Explains well, knows his stuff and his very open to all sorts of questions. He also knows how to joke which is nice when it's a class in the morning and everyone's practically asleep. His exams are ok. Not impossible but I recommend during the exercises he assigns, they are pretty much the same as in the exam. and his quizzes helps a lot in terms of the grade boost, you might need.
