Advice- Switch into Ms Sharps Grade 12 courses
Advice- Switch out of Ms Sharps Grade 11 courses
Ms sharp honestly isnt bad at all. Shes so nice and helpful if u go and ask for it. Everyone who is writing bad reviews probably just got a bad mark. Review your notes and study and you can easily get a high mark
I do not recommend Sharp for you people, she explains her lessons faster than when Eminem raps in his songs. Throws a bunch of information at you and expects you to know it all, and honestly, I have barely learned anything from her comparing to my other teachers.
Well it was her first time teaching grade 12 bio so i kind of understand that she wasnt up to par. But she throws too much information at you and expects you to know everything when the tests comes. She can get pretty annoying as she repeats "calm down, dont worry, its not too bad" but in honesty it is bad! She had to sit in on samji's class to take notes and then teach us later on the day. So she would make many mistakes. I wish i had a different teacher tbh. Thats how bad it was.
Although she isn't horrible, she's rude and often makes mistakes in her teachings. (Sometimes patronizing and mean, too.) Having her for grade 10 science was a terrible experience, as she didn't seem to know what she was talking about in anything but chemistry (which she still taught at a sub-par level). If you want to do well, make sure to ask for help, study on your own, and get on her good side. Be careful, she nitpicks. Lastly, switch to a different teacher if you have the chance.
She is horrible she can't teach , she just throws information at you and expects people to understand it, she doesn't give proper notes , or any helpful advice. She is always RUDE and sarcastic, if you have questions she always tell you to figure it out yourself.
It was hard to understand sometimes during her classes. She also chooses the most difficult questions for her tests that was never solved or reviewed in classes. Ms. Sharp is very funny but she's also very strict. I didn't quite enjoy her classes.
She's not horrible, but I don't like her teaching methods. She's also not going to baby you and ask you if you need help. You need to take the initiative and go ask her for extra help. That's when she'll really sit down and reteach the lesson for you. However, she can be a bit rude sometimes. She's also really fair with testing. If she sees that the whole class did bad on a test, shel split the test in half to make people's marks higher, or something along those lines.
Decent teacher. Not as bad as most make her out to be but still not the best. She can be really rude sometimes but if you get on her good side she's not as bad as people make her out to be.
Ms Sharp is a nice teacher and is reasonable but her notes are not very clear. She explains something if you ask her, but I am not a big fan of her teaching method, shes an ok teacher
She does the job and tries to explain stuff. I don't know what everyone is upset about. She's okay I guess.
She has no natural inclination to the Sciences. She teaches straight out of the course pack, and often fumbles for understanding herself on new topics, as she is teaching. She is also very presumptiou
VERY PICKY, even on investigations she will mark them and it will be apart of your grade. She will not tell you if it's apart of your grade until it is already marked. Most of the class got 50% as the
she can explain things well, but she teaches out of the course pack... with evaluations shes very picky and its gets annoying because you loose marks for nothing.
Teaches straight out of the course pack, take your own notes and you'll do fine. Very particular, especially on labs. Still a good teacher, don't know why everyone gives her such a bad reputation
I love her first name! Terrible teacher though. I had her for 2 years. She's helpful and nice when you come for one on one time at after school help
You guys are all ridiculous! She's an extremely nice person if YOU are not rude and if YOU dont cause trouble!
this is how u teach...bla bla u already know this...bla u learned this in gr 9..bla bla..ok we're done good luck on the test. well u havnt actually taught us anything now have u?BeMoreClear&HelpfulPLZ
she can be very nice n helpful, but she has serious mood swings. & no she doesnt mark tests hard, she just takes marks off at random CHECK UR TESTS! & she randomly picks on ppl =S
Our student teacher was better than her... I do not understand her tests, she made be hate chemistry... she is a nice person but I do not like her as a science teacher.
:] If you don't get something in her class, ask. Big help.
yeah i don't understand the "looking at the ceiling" strategy. maybe she's scared of her students and looking up calms her fears.
She is a good teacher. But, she is a very tough marker. Also, ESL students get WAY too many bonus marks with her. The T/I is impossibly hard.
It would be better if you try to give us less stress by decreasing the amount of work. also, pls try to be a bit more nicer wen sumone like a good student makes
Ms Sharp was an amazing science teacher. She taught me a lot and was very nice and funny throught the year. GO MS SHARP!!!
ALWAYS looks at the ceiling! i could never find anything interesting up there
has no clue what she's talking about, all she does in class is eat
