Never had Ruffell but from what I heard is that you either like him and do well in his class or you hate him and do horrible in his class. It really depends on your own learning

If you're a slacker, then good luck. If you honestly care about math and try, he's the best math teacher you can get. Very systematic and clear. He has everything planned out weeks ahead (even months) and there are no surprises in his class.

worst math teacher I've ever had--makes fun of all the girls. if the class gets too noisy-only blames it on the girls and says "ladies! this is not a girls washroom!" explains a couple of questions AFTER the exam gives u a practice test and ur ready for the test. explains the first lesson straight out of the text book we learn nothing more than the textbook and explains nothing that u should know from the previous year just alls u stupid if u don't know it

The most unhelpful teacher i have had in my whole entire school life. First of all makes fun of everyone for asking questions. Also does not answer questions about a previous chapter after he has moved on to the next one. He will literally not help you even if that chapter has ended 5 minutes ago.

He's great once you get to know him. I had him for 2 years, good teacher. Very accommodating, and helpful. Sure he makes weird jokes, but that's a sign of a genius!

A tough teacher that is at times quite intimidating which results to less confidence on the student to approach the teacher. He probably expects everyone to know Math like it's common sense which is true. He's not the teacher for students who procrastinate, but he's the right teacher for everyone else. He's very informative, quite sarcastic but funny. His analogies are clear and he teaches very well. The only problem is his attitude. But he's not there to be your friend, he's there to teach.
