She's alright as a teacher but expect lots of self-study as not all topics will be covered in class or will be covered too late. Attempts are made to helpful, although at times it leads to confusion rather than clarification. Communication was also not very clear on what was to be expected in assignments unless asked specifically.

Ms. Ferguson is a wonderful Social Studies teacher (she no longer teaches English) who is genuinely interested in the success and improvement of her students. While she may not hand out easy marks (particularly on essays), she is always willing to assist in clarifying any confusion regarding the material she covers. She does have high standards relative to other teachers in the school, but these are not unachievable or unreasonable by any means. She expects class participation in discussions.
