Even though she's retired, I have to say she's probably one of the best chemistry teachers. Yes, she is a really tough marker, but her helpfulness and knowledge can definitely bring you back up on the exam or on quizzes...etc. Miss you !
Plays favourites, doesn't clarify topics. Didn't like her at all!
She knows what she's teaching, but doesn't really care for her students. Her tests are straight forward and she expects things a certain way. However, she does not like clarifying or repeating things. Also never comes before a test or quiz
My 2 years of chemistry with her were definitely memorable. She teaches the content thoroughly and is very knowledgeable. Her tests and labs are very straightforward and she has a specific marking scheme (that she always shares). Homework is (very) optional and is just to reinforce your understanding of the content. Her classes prepare you very well for university; try not to get her sig. digits stamp!
Boring lessons, does not teach very well, stuck up, if you ask for clarification or extra help understanding a concept/topic she is not willing to help you and gets frustrated.
Not really getting the best mark in her class at the moment, I try but she always seems to catch me when I'm not doing my work. Knows her stuff and a great teacher. Hope she pass's me
Easily tempered, rude, arrogant and EXTREMELY disrespectful teacher. She knows what she teaches but she will never explain more than once. She'll teach the lesson once and will give further explanation she will reply "Read the Textbook" or her famous "Well if you were paying any attention in this class you wouldn't be asking me" During her lesson our class is dead silent and all eyes on the board. She will disappear the day before EVERY test and will refuse to answer any questions on the day of.
Had her for grade 12 last year and even though she may seem hard and nitpicky, she does it for good reason. Trust me when i say that if you have an easy teacher for a math/science course in grade 12, you will find it significantly harder in university. Furthermore, she expects a lot, but in the end it will benefit you in university, where it actually counts ! :)
She is very knowledgable and a pleasure to have as a teacher. She is one of my favorite teachers and no I am not in the gifted program. She treats the academic students just as well as she treats her gifted students. If you respect her, she'll respect you and if you apply yourself and ask questions she will help
She really knows her stuff, but dont expect to get a shred of respect from her. unless your in the gifted program she'll treat you like a used tissue. shes extremely knowledgeable, and constantly flaunts her engineering ring. shes very rude and there is absolutely no negotiating with her. shes a great teacher and is very good at keeping the class under control, but her lessons are very boring. and if you need extra help, just go to yahoo answers, youll get more help there
Good teacher, but she's a very rude person. She also blows off days before tests and people asking for extra help. I mean she knows her stuff, but a bit of respect would be nice.
Best science teacher, in my opinion. Love the fact that we actionally learn good stuff, but please make your classes more enjoyable. That room is so warm I can't stop myself from falling asleep.
Great teacher. Teaches very well, things are understandable and is very helpful when needed. The tests and labs are very difficult though, but gets us prepared for the exam very well.
she's the best teacher you'll ever have! she has strict rules, but rules that are understandable and she knows extremely well how to help students understand the concepts! favourite teacher!!!
She definitely knows what she's doing and knows all of her material very well, however, her lessons are extremely boring. Put a moderate amount of effort into class and she will love you!
so far so good. really knows what she is talking about. makes things a bit tricky to understand, and doesnt really make sure people are catching on before she moves to the next topic. really nice tho
I think Mrs. Franciosa is really nice, she really knows what she is talking about. I have had her a few times and she has always been supportive of me.
Very structured and well planned. The overheads are a bit much. More interactive learning could be very helpful. She is picky about little things, and dont talk in her class.
A no-nonsense type of teacher. Very academic and structural when it comes to giving lessons. She's tight about certain things, but it gives the class a more mature atmosphere.
not a bad teacher but she doesn't like me for some reason..
Very rarely does she provide extra help. Her style of teaching is very lethargic, and her ability to make the topic of study enjoyable lacks greatly.
Really fun class. Make chem seem so much easier. and it is!
a very good teacher i am lucky to have her. She is a little too tight about some small things, but not bad
Gives good lessons, VERY clear and understandable! She doesn't move on unless everyone understands the lesson =)
