Absolutely adore him as a teacher. By far my favourite.
In 1987, I remember telling Mr. Milner that I submitted the exact same essay as my brother had two years earlier, and my brother got 85% and I got 55%. Yeah, he was that cool. It bugged me at the time, but of course was an absurd thing to do. I never did have him as a teacher, but I admired how he seemed to relate to students so well.
Favourite teacher of all time. His class isn't easy and he'll give you a hard time if you knows your not giving your best because he knows you can do better. Such a beauty.
Mr. Milner was my inspiration to go to university, and gave me the support and feedback I needed to do well in the real world. A fantastic person and my all-time favorite teacher. Thank you Mr. Milner!
Mr. Milner 'gets' kids. As his student I felt like he understood where I was coming from. This did not mean he lowered his expectations, infact they were often high, but that was because he believed we could achieve them. He used a variety of teaching styles and media to make sure all the students were engaged. He encourages students to form their own opinions and listen to the opinions of others. I felt safe in his class. He is a valuable asset to the education system.
I am looking for Mr. Milner, wanted to tell him that he was my high school inspiration, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be going to Harvard next week. He is the reason I am now a teacher!
Andy Milner always went out of his way to help me. He has a wonderful way of relating to people that makes them feel comfortable yet maintains the teacher student relationship in a respectful way.
I will ALWAYS remember and respect the "Rad Dad"! I am an English teacher now thanks solely to him. You are the man, Andy. This "Tulip" thanks you for the daily rides!
Mr. Milner was a fantastic teacher. Prayer for Owen Meanie is still a favourite book of mine. I've been outta school for a decade and still remember his classes.
Hey Andy. I miss coaching volleyball with you the most. Thanks for being a good egg.
I love having Mr. Milner as a teacher. I actually look forward to going to his classes. He's just so cool!
Mr. Milner was my favorite teacher in my high school years....keep on rockin Mr. Milner
Mr. Milner is the kindest man i have ever known. Had it not been for his love and support, i would have been a high school drop-out. I owe him the world!
mildog keeps kicking out some prose like none of those other dinosaurs at ldss seem to do.
