Do homework = do well on test; do no homework = do badly on test.
Mr. Brown is a sick guy. He's not that charismatic or interesting to listen to but his tests make sense which is a lot better than all of the other math teachers at this school. He truly cares about his students which is nice too. A genuine person.
This is my third year having him as a teacher and he is awesome!
His marks fair in the sense that all of the questions on the tests are from the homework, so as long as you do it and understand it all, you're good. His lessons go by pretty quickly and it's hard to grasp the concept of the lessons sometimes, but he seems happy to give extra help to students that need it.
He is my favourite math teacher at WCI. He gives tons of extra help.
Brown is knows his stuff; there's no doubt about that. The (major) problem that I, and many of my classmates have in his class, is his ability to make you feel really stupid when you ask a question because he smirks and glances at the 'smarter' people in the class before answering. This discourages me from asking questions or seeking help (although he is usually available). I think that sometimes he forgets that not everyone is as good at math as he is and can't learn new concepts as fast.
Awesome guy! Lays out examples of absolutely every type of question in a neat and concise note for the first half of each class! Doesnt make you understand/teach theory behind stuff though. If you do all your homework (challenging since he gives out so much) i doubt you'll ever find a question on a test you've never seen before. Good at answering questions. The most shy adult ive ever met but super funny, sweet, and a great tennis coach too!
Mr. Brown is such an amazing teacher! He's knowledgeable, friendly, very involved with the mathematics activity at this school, passionate about teaching and about math, and is a great guy. Everyone I know who has him or has had him in the past absolutely adore him.
Thanks to this man I went from a 53% in grade 11 functions to a 93% in grade 12 calculus, sums it all...
Mr.Brown is a one of the best teachers in waterloo collagiate institude. He is good at explaining math
great guy. had him in gr 10 and fifth year and hes just amazing. fair to everyone, teaches well and just a stellar teacher. He used to chat with me about wrestling after lectures. cool dude for sure
Mr. Brown is a great teacher. Being the duller of the bulbs in a class of AP students, I have truly benefitted from his extra help and clear ways of describing. He moves quickly, but he will back up a
Awesome teacher. Gotta love Mr. Brown and his awkwardness.
An absolutely phenomenal teacher, I had him for three years and enjoyed his classes immensely. His lessons are only ~30 minutes long (so you have time to do homework) and contain great example q's!
haha he is the biggest nerd which makes him hilarious! but an awesome teacher
Pretty awesome teacher, can tell he cares a lot about math :)
Just an amazing teacher! He actually makes math fun and not painful. Anyone would be lucky to have him (:
Brown's good due to mainly two things: he's easy and he's young/hip/nice. Very reasonable guy.
He's really funny, and he's actually a really good math teacher. The classes are pretty fun too!
Voted teacher you want to invite to a party in 2005....brown rock.....funny guy. Could of made the exam last year a little bit easier.....but whatever....love this teacher
THIS GUY IS HALARIOUS GET TO KNOW HIM. ALTHOUGH AS A TEACHER MY AVERAGE WENT DOWN AND A THIRD OF THE PEOPLE IN CLASS NEEDED A TUTOR.
Brown is sometimes confusing... nice... but makes random jokes to himself on the board. kind of boring.
I think he's cool, he's young so give him a break.. he likes to tell random stories during exams
Brown is cool... a really nice guy. math is sort of hard though
Mr Brown Rocks. He marks his new economics class too hard. I own his calculus class though! Good (kind of fast) teacher overall!
Mr. Brown is awesome. He listens to your suggestions and makes changes. You can learn a lot from him.
pretty good teacher... sort of boring tho...it's funny cuz he tries to get the class excited and it doesn't work. he goes pretty fast too... other than that goo
Mr. Brown was a really nice guy. He's not that great a teacher, but he tries.
Outstanding, he is the best math teacher. So funny and knowledgeable.
mr brown is the BEST. come to class and you'll get an A, plus he's super nice and funny
He made math really dry, and could never really help me. But he's really easy
he's too easy. doesn't teach much. gets up solves problems on the board every once in a while randomly for no apparent reason.
so funny!! and doesn't make math harder than it has to be...
