Ms. Jones is the best math teacher I have ever had in high school! She's always enthusiastic and passionate about teaching math. Her lessons are easy to understand but sometimes she rushes through (because FNCLAP). She encourages all her students to succeed and provides help when needed. One of my favourite things about her is her funny mnemonics for remembering formulae. If you enjoy math, you will definitely enjoy her class! Overall, I think Ms. Jones has truly prepared me well for university.

Her exams are hard, but if legitimately listen to her, it will be an easy A. It is annoying that she makes us take our textbook home, but because of it, you will remember everything so much better. This is the only year that I can remember everything I learned in math class without needing to check my notes. The problems...
a) unavailable a lot due to her being in charge of so much math... stuff
b) doesn't recap everything before a test.
She is still one of the best teachers... EVER!

Ms. Jones is great! Best math teacher at Northern for actually learning the skills. Although she is difficult, you will learn really good tricks and skills for later years which will make it so much easier later on. Her tests can be hard, especially the thinking questions, but she will give you great understanding and she clearly loves math!

I've heard her blow up once, and in all honesty it was totally warranted. She said, verbatim, "THERE'S A POINT I'M TRYING TO MAKE!" when our class, even the smart ones, we're just not paying any attention. Other than that, expect a lot of homework, as in daily, and watch your tests. Those "pf"s, though.

Mrs. Jones prepared me for university more than any of my other teachers at Northern. Her class requires a lot of work and commitment but the knowledge you gain from her pays off so much. I currently have 100% in my math class at university and I owe that to her!! Very nice lady

One of the best math teachers I've ever had! At first, I must admit, I began falling behind because I didn't know how to work hard. Had I wanted to, I could've gone in the morning to get help - she was there running a math tutoring club. As the year went on, however, her lessons and advice to study sunk in, and I began to really understand the material, and my marks rose. Her class was definitely a difficult one, but if you are willing to work you will learn and retain a whole bunch!

She was a fantastic teacher! Although she marks hard and puts crazy thinking questions and takes off questions for poor form, but if you know how to do her tests you'll be great! She gives awesome help to anyone who nees it and is always there early in the morning for extra help before tests. She truly cares about how well her students do which is a great quality in a teacher.

Amazing math teacher! Very knowledgeable, approachable and optimistic. She can give hard tests and may evaluate them harshly (especially with the "pf") but if you are a self-motivated learner who pays attention in class and behave appropriately, she will be a splendid teacher to have. On an upcoming test, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU STUDY AND KNOW YOUR STUFF BECAUSE MRS. JONES WILL GIVE NO HELP ON A TEST WHATSOEVER.("I know nothing, don't ask.")

I think Ms. Jones is what every math teacher should strive to be. If you go to her classes, you will instantly know that she loves what she does, she loves helping, and she absolutely adores Mickey Mouse. Ms. Jones has an incredible energy for math, and it makes understanding and learning it so much easier. I am getting an incredible mark in her class, and most of the time I don't even need to do the homework. I have had her for math two years in a row, and have learned her ways of perfect form.

A very nice teacher, with lots of energy. I enjoy my classes with her, even though AP Calculus is really tough. I like her a lot as a person, but not as much as a math teacher. While it is quite clear that she knows her stuff, and is very good at explaining her stuff, she spends too much time explaining it, and not enough time for us to work on the homework. She's a hard marker, but clearly loves math.
