He is a very kind, sweet man. He definitely rambles but his rambling is what the tests are on so its not a total waste of time. I had a hard time picking out what was important from his rambles because his exam questions often surprised me with information I deemed irrelevant. If you can pay attention and take VERY detailed notes, it's and easy class I got 80's with him. And yes he does drool, but still an overall good teacher.

I recommend to take him! He tends to ramble in his lectures but his tests are open book. You are expected to come to class and take detailed notes. It is a pretty easy class, and he is a funny guy.

Incredibly interesting class and you can tell that he truly wants the students to succeed. The course isn't difficult but be prepared to take a lot of notes. I enjoyed the class a lot, because he was really passionate about what he taught. He also bears a striking resemblance to Bill Murray.

K first off after reading other reviews on here it makes me wonder where you guys think he's an easy teacher. He's all over the place, making inappropriate jokes, talking about his family life! Classes consist of taking notes on his lectures which he repeats over and over again but is never specific on what is important ! Secondly his test are not easy! Even with the movie pages and notes and book! Thirdly this 10 page essay we have to do on a sentence from a chapter is a joke! Avoid him!

You walk in class pick up the sheets on his desk go sit down and he puts in a movie. End of class he goes over the movie questions and basically gives you all the answers. As for tests, you accumulate a bunch of readings every class and basically need to highlight the answers (that is your homework) Open book tests so you bring all the movie questions and readings to the test. Besides that there are no essays and only one assignment. I'm sure there are easier teachers but he's not so bad

In class: movies&questions; At home: MANY readings. Don't take him if you think it's one of those classes you can sleep in and catch up later or just never show up,it's not. He will pass you if your final mark is 55-59
