Super sweet teacher!! All of her exams are completely multiple choice and they're super easy if you study properly! She doesnt care if you come to class or not. Her powerpoints are easy to understand
I did find her exams hard. Long lectures. But it is your job to study and read it. She is a very nice and sweet person. Gives bonuses. She had lab quizzes that will help you when you're not doing to well on the exams. I highly recommend her. SHE IS AN ANGEL WITHOUT WINGS.
She's a super sweet teacher and takes the time to help the students who need it and is very knowledgeable. I love her!
Really sweet teacher. She helps students a lot and organizes her lecture well. We all like her and we all wish we can have her for microbiology in next semester.
For bio 1, she reads her powerpoints every class. Nice teacher but hard topic. Tests and quizzes are reflective of material covered in class.
she's the best bio 1 teacher I ever had !!!!!! Take her if you can, you will not regret your choice. Easy tests and quizzes, okay labs. She's a great human being :)
She is one of the most caring teacher at Vanier. Truly recommended. Easy quizzes at lab session. just don't leave it till the end for mid-term and final test. should be okay... great human being :)
Such a sweet teacher. Easy exams as long as you study in advance(obviously not the night before).
Had her for Bio 1,she was amazing compared to all my friends' teachers. She knows her stuff, cares a lot about her students, really wants people to do well, and gives amazing notes. She's really great
cell biology ain't easy but her examens aren't that hard. just make sure you know your stuff nd you'll be ok but don't wait til last minute!!shes REALLY kind :) love her! + you can skip some classes
She didn't explain things very well and didn't teach from the book. :(
She's a very nice person but know your stuff for the test. She DOES say not to worry (but in fact, you should). Easy marker though so chances are that you'll get something over 80. :)
nice person but can't explain. you're better off studying on your own & memorizing all that stuff for tests. keeps saying "don't worry" but DO worry coz her tests're harder than other sections
umm, nice teacher but not really good. She read power point, not teaching the note. i never skip any bio class but hers. when im in class, i slept. But she's easy, just study her note, you pass >80%
Nice human being, but she needs more experience teaching. She is not as prepared as some of the other teachers. Reads what she has written off the pc & can't answer anyone's questions
Can you say spacey? I remember dreading going to class because it felt like someone was squeezing my brain. But she is a nice person, just not great at teaching. The class wasnt hard though.
excellent teacher. explains vey well. exams are very easy
Lots of stuff to remember which I am not good at. Nice person but it takes an extremely good teacher to teach this class properly; she is just average.
I'm happy that it's over... I wouldn't recommed her class. I'm not very good at memorizing trivia.
don't know wat she is talking about, if you ask her a question she has go look at her slides to answer you..lol
Help! Will this course never end? I don't know what she is talking about in class--it's never the same stuff as what is in the textbook. If I have to repeat, I'm going to Dawson college!
I found her lectures quite interesting. Her notes had a LOT of images and diagrams in bio1 & they helped me to picture (not just memorize) concepts + learn more than is just required of us.She does try to listen & answer everybodys "?"s in the best way she can.The problem ppl mostly had was not with her in particular but w/ the bio book "Biological Science" by S.Freeman which is interesting but so LONG to read esp. if you take other science courses like organic chemistry&physics at the same time.
She must teach from older textbooks & she takes her exam questions from the same books. This makes studying hard without access to the right material. She should emphasize material in the book that we had to buy!
bio is horrible and she doesn't know her stuff. her exams are impossible since most of the choices are extremely similar. seems sweet but she's not. if u r not a bio geek avoid her.
Sweet teacher. Really nice to students. Be nice to her she be nice to you
I LOVE MARIA, nicest teacher at Vanier, compassionate towards the students. TAKE HER.
She's a wonderful person. Before this semester, I didn't particularly like Biology but her class got me really interested.
great teacher - always clear and nice to everyone; lots of bonus
Her notes are good, her practice tests are easy but her test are EXTREMLY HARD!!! she gives bonus. she is nice but study well for her test.
Sweet personality, but doesn't know how to teach the material. Afraid of questions
EXCELLENT TEACHER, she has a PHd in biology (and is 25 yrs old) and she knows what she's talking about. she's very very smart
sweet person, her bonus points will help you pass even if you think you won't. Tests are from the notes, don't bother with the text except for diagrams. YOU WAN
Very nice teacher. Gives out plenty of notes and her test are basically from the notes.
Cool teacher but dunno how to draw diagrams... Really, really bad at keeping the stoopid class quiet.
Has no authority in bio department. Always had to do what they want. Is afraid of Phil (the worst lab techn. in the world), who hates the students.
Nice lady, cannot teach. Students will teach her, instead of her teaching them
I loved this class. I'm actually going into Bio. because of it.
bad teacher, good person. Her exams are hard. She is fake though.
I actually liked bio with her, which I thought was impossible.
Very nice and sweet but not so clear in her lectures. Exams are tricky.
