She is a good teacher, but seems to be quite unorganized. Orals are done in small groups, reading small short stories are required but are not demanding and there was almost no homework to be done. She can be hard on small grammar mistakes but overall a nice woman who is very caring. I would recommend her as i have heard there can be horrible french teachers at dawson. I did find that students did not respect her enough and would talk over her, making class seem like that in high school though.

She is a great teacher, super nice and is a great marker. She is always available for extra help and explains assignments very clearly. When it comes to doing the french orals it is always nerve racking but she made it super easy and less stressful by not putting you in front of the whole class and speak but would schedule a time where only 5 or 6 people would listen to you speak. Overall best french teacher I ever had and would totally recommend her!

Listen, I am going to be perfectly honest in saying that Gagnon was a near perfect French teacher. Classes finished 5-10 minutes early each and every time, there was very little work to do outside of the classroom, essays were easy and required little to no thought process, exams were a joke and always open book, we occasionally watched movies during class time with questionable (at best) pedagogical purposes. All in all, just what I am looking for in a French second language course at Dawson.

Screw all the haters in here. With all the horrible French teachers at Dawson, Lucie is a real gem that won't ever regret taking especially when all your friends are complaining about how much their French teacher sucks. Take this lady if you want to improve your French while also getting rewarded with a good mark for your hardwork.

She's a very nice teacher! What I loved about her is that even if your answer is not she expected (on an exam), she will try to understand it. She always say, oh I see why you picked this answer..because you think that bla bla bla.. but yeah anyways. AMAZING TEACHER! Best french teacher I have ever had. Yeah there is a lot of readings but I mean it's 9 days only plus they're short stories. I actually came out of this course knowing better french :) TAKE HER!

Basically impossible to fail, just show up and don't be rude. I question her abilities as a teacher because I did not learn anything from that class and we rarely did anything but get into heated discussions about her political beliefs and be in the computer lab on the useless ccdmd or whatever site and write 150 words texts. But useless classes and mid 80's at the end of the semester isn't bad. If you actually want to learn, not for you. But if you want to pass and do little work its perf

She is such an easy teacher! She will literally find any reason to give you marks, even if you did bad on whatever it may have been. A lot of reading required for her class, a few quizzes/tests and an oral presentation, but it was all manageable! Very lenient teacher.

take her if you want to feel like in high school once again. No discipline in class, take her with any good friend, and enjoy her classes! Lecture tests are a bit difficult, but she actually gives all answers before the evaluation, so just listen for her and write down whatever she writes on the blackboard.
