Very strict and does not explain assignments well
Super hard class if your in the gr11 and 12 class but overall he is a genius, I think we bonded and he gives out pretty fun assignments but I use to stress over his class because of the workload, I thought "oh art will be easy I'll take it" boy was I wrong.. the due dates for things were ridiculous though we should've had extended times.
I've had Mr. Lobo in Art for two years now, and although we've butted heads from time to time, he's still an awesome guy and I respect him and his opinion. He's funny, kind, but a bit of a perfectionist, no, a big perfectionist, but that's a good thing as he pushes the art students to do better. His classes are easy and it's impossible to fail them. He treats everyone fairly when it comes to marking; he focuses on your skills and how much you've improved, not the average of the class. Very nice.
I have him for grade nine french and its 2 months into the semester and I haven't learned much. He's a pretty cool guy and can be funny sometimes although he isn't doing a good job of teaching the class about french. Apparently he is just as unclear in art too. Like I said cool guy but he could do better on the teaching aspect.
some people are ignorant his joke probably are funnier in his language, good teacher. the reason people dont like him is because he teaches art not like other art teachers who give out marks
cant under stand him he is annoying and does not teach you anything do not take his french class
Great art teacher. He can be a bit confusing at times (not always because of the accent), but he really knows art and you can learn a lot. He's also very lenient with due dates.
very confusing teacher.. NEVER eat or fall asleep in his class..
I love Mr. Lobo. Very skilled when it comes to set design and sculpture. I had him for French in grade 9. I admire and greatly respect him in the arts! yay Lobo! :D
He does have the ability to agitate you, but in a 1 on 1 coversation, his teaching skills are justified. Not the greatest teacher I've had, but by far one of the best.
Definitely picks favourites, but still a good teacher. Good sense of humour, too.
if you work, you pass, the more you work the higher your mark is, you dont need to be good a french...dont like u assignin things the first dayy that are due the last day
gives extra help when needed if you take the time to come in and ask
funny teacher.. not very clear...if u work hard you'll get good marks
A voice, not a race... i learned to work and my mark was the mirror of that work.
Okay.. Im sorry to say but Lobo was one of the worst teachers i found.. i couldnt understand him.. not coz of his accent but coz he doesnt make sense!
Definetly needs to learn that there's more than one way to do something and everyone has their own style!
i dont know what he is saying half the time? I guess all artists say allot of bull, but art is art.
mr.lobo is a great teacher and just because he has an accent gives you no reason not to like him, his great!
This si just my experience, i think he is a fun interesting teacher, but isn't very clear !!! When he asks questions in class hardly anyboy answers BE MORE CLEAR
Try teaching another subject...think's he knows it all.
