She's a very smart woman and she knows her course material very well. That being said, she's not approachable, she's unclear at times and she is not involved in the lives of her students generally speaking. But hey, she's there to prepare you for post-secondary and not to be your friend; she excels in both areas.
Mrs. Little is very knowledgeable about her course, but I find that she is not clear enough with assignments and gives far too much homework.
She is very knowledgeable about grammar and literature but she gives waaayyy too much homework to handle. she is very nice but loves to speak in riddles and mumbles everything. overall a good teacher but needs to be more clear and coherent
She is a very strict teacher, but knows a lot and is definitely one of those teachers that really gives you a challenge no matter what grade you're in. She gives way to much homework to handle and isn't easy. She should do better on clarity and being helpful.
overall she is unique in her own sort of way. and she knows what shes talking about. the only thing that she should improve is, to help weaker students
Good teacher overall... I really admire that she is so passionate about her work, but she does give way too much homework! If you're hoping for your ENG4U mark to boost your admissions average, don't
just do all your homework, and be prepared, and you should be fine.
Definately one of the few teachers who are passionate about their job. Gives too much homework though. Be very prepared for all your presentations.
Pretty intense english teacher. Great knowlege of grammar and literature but can be really tough... she's nice if you don't get on her bad side though.
Mrs. Little is such a caring and compassionate teacher. I was privileged enough to have in gr. 9 and she really estalished a firm foundation for me in english. She was AMAZING!
she's a really committed teacher, her English class prepares you for university. She's not an easy teacher but if you try hard she's recognize that.
She's a really committed teacher. I admire that. I've had too many teachers who really didn't seem to care that much about their job.
Best prep I ever received for uni, hard marker but if you try hard and strive for the best you will do well in her class.
An actual teacher who does her job. One of the best.
The best teacher I had in high school. She is a hard marker, but if you do your work and ask her questions when you're unclear you'll do well and learn a lot. Best prep I received for uni @ Westdale.
Mrs. Little receives negative ratings because she does her job properly. She teaches University level English and is required to mark hard in order to prepare students for Uni.
Never gives clear instructions Never answers questions in a useful way Tries to help, but a lot of what she says doesn't make sense Actually *thinks* that her class is useful.
brutal marker, and ALWAYS be FULLY prepared for presentations, has a real passion for eng, you really learn something / overprepared for your next steps in eng.
She really knows her stuff, She holds real passion for what she teaches, yes, the class is hard, but if you try you will learn efficiently. Definitely of higher intelligence.
Although she works you to the bone in the beginning shes actually really helpful and prepares you very well....you actually feel like you learned something!
what an excellent teacher, she worksyou hard but you will benefitt from it in the long run, best English teacher i have ever had, way more prepared for school
Although you do get a lot of homework, Mrs. Little is the BEST teacher i have ever had. I learned so much in her class and am completely prepared for university
We aren't in University yet, so don't give us so much homework. We are learning a lot but in a painful learning environment.
Now that i i'm in university i realize how good of a teacher she was. In highschool i didn't appreciate it - i'm prepared now and doing well because of her.
she's taught me so much this year.. very smart, clever and understanding
