She's great don't listen to others. She can be a bit strict but she teaches extremely well and gets you prepared for later. Really nice person too.
Dropped more than 10 percent from Advanced Functions because of how RIDICULOUSLY unclear her teacher is. Stuck by myself trying to figure calculus out but kept being destroyed on tests until I started to get help outside of schoolschool. And I'm the guy in class who always does homework and review.
definitely a hard marker, and plz slow down as explaining answers :)
Shes so mean. I was having a washroom emergency and she just wouldnt let me go..and shes so rude. Hate her so much
I LOVE HOMEWORK SO SHE IS DA BEST TEACHER <33333 Kappa
I had a wonderful teacher for Advanced Functions who was very willing to help and clear and reasonable. I got a decent mark and started liking math but that would all change after her. Then I had Ms. Colarusso, she loves students who already know the material from "extra classes" outside of class and doesn't teach well AT ALL for students in the class. Simply hands out worksheets and does not teach. Needs to review key concepts more.
She told my parents that I might be sped because I didn't do well on some tests. Also said I should have a doctor check me out to see if I have a serious disability. I was doing fine the next year
i dont really like her
not good teacher
Spends half the class whining at the projector not working.
She knows her math, but she is terrible at explaining. While taking up answers, she does the math in her head and says, "Yes, this is the answer!" without even explaining how she got it. She gives huge amounts of homework (no kid wants that, obviously). Also, she rushes through all the units/chapters! She wants to get everything done while I'm over here confused as heck. Like, please, slow down!
Hard teacher, picky marker, temperamental but hate her all you like, she prepares you WELL for university. I had low marks compared to my peers but thanks to the work habits she instilled in me I came out TOP of my first-year Calculus I class and will likely become an IA for this coming school year. Respect.
Favorites students, very bad at explaining mathematical problems. I give her credit for always trying to help though she's not very good at it.
did not like her... tests are very hard and she is intimidating also don't like her teaching style.
Knows her stuff. I learned alot!! I feel I will be well prepared for Calculus. She is always well prepared and willing to give extra help. Always answered my questions.
Had her for Gr 12 Functions and lol.... Sometimes she has no idea what she is doing... Like she spends 30 minutes trying to set up the projector or tries to answer our questions and fails. Sometimes when she doesn't know what she is doing she breaks down and stops talking and we're just sitting there for like 15 minutes waiting for her to regain strength or confidence or whatever it is to talk to us again. She's ok.
Just like that typical, villanous high school teacher you see in the movies. VERY temperamental, hypocritical, gives far too much homework, and marks extremely hard.
really cares about her students. a teacher that likes her job and knows what she's doing. a little strict, but so worth it!
Was in her grade 10 class, had a lot of homework but didnt check much which was nice. She teaches very well and if you are getting high 80s and 90s, she wont care what you do - to future students
Wayyyy too much work. some teachers need to realise that there are other courses that students are taking, and that those classes give out homework too. just jams you with work. holly crap
difficult teacher, but knows what she's doing. dorky but funny math jokes! watch your attitude because she does not like swearing and is quite strict.
very enthusiastic and funny as well. too much homework at times but it worths it
Ms C is very helpful and enthusiastic, even in a 5th period class when everyone is tired and sleepy. She's the best math teacher I've ever had.
This teacher definatly knows what she's doing, after so many years at unionville. People say that she moves too quickly but I'd prefer a class tat ends at the right time rather than (end - rush, hmrk)
ms c. is the best. very enthusiastic and energetic. she explains everything in great detail too.
prepares students for university incredibly well. Being in her calculus class opened up my brain. She is a valuable teacher and I am very thankful I had the opportunity to be in her class!
Pretty fun, but very strict. Homework galore and weird ways of teaching.
i agree! very joyful and enthusiastic teacher. and funny too. her class is SO fun
she's such a joyful and enthusiastic teacher. pretty helpful as well
ok shes a good teacher... but mmaann she gives so much hw! all at the end of class too! but she helps alot.. good job mrs. c!
she's a really nice teacher but she gives out too much homework and she's a really hard teacher... but she's sooooooooo nice
Caring teacher that will try to help any student in her class, not only those who are smart. I enjoyed her classes and she makes math a lot of fun.
Mrs. Colarusso is such a cool teacher! I didn't like her at first, but now she's one of my favourites! Your the best teacher Mrs. C!!
ur one of the nicest teachers in the school... but you give a lot of hwk... but i'll forgive you cuz i never do it
Fairly good teacher, you must pay attention at all time and tape your eyes open. Other than that's she's cool.
If You Don't Understand What She Taught You, You'll Have A Hard Time In University. Thx To Her I'm Doing Quite Good U
High school math is easy. I am in university now and am continuing to get mid-to-high 90s in Calculus. Go figure.
she's pretty nice, but it seems like her goal is to see how many people she can make fail calculus...
She's Okay. Remember: Work Hard, Pay Attention, NO SLACKER in her class. Funny Pose she had while write on board :)
very nice and helpfull always stays in for extra help
