Hez the best science teacher I have ever had. No one has asked him a question that he did not answer. I think he likes answering questions. Some t9imes hez answers go for about 10 minutes. I know moire about fridges and the energy waste than I ever want to know. My Dad sez he wants to take my science class.

He's a great teacher and he knows quite a bit. Sometimes it's hard to understand what he means the first time he says it but he can make it clear if your willing to ask for help. Honestly one of the best, if not THE best teacher I have ever had. Too bad this is his last year.

He was easy to talk to, and gave me a lot of pointers for getting my daughter to get better success. I am glad that she had him for a teacher this year. Thank you.

My son did not like physics in the beginning. I did trust Mr. Oja and did not let him drop the class. Now, he comes home with something wonderful to say each and every day. He actually likes his other classes better now too. Thank you.

Hez the best teacher. We are all making musical instruments in physics. I had trouble with mine but now it is working. I wish I could play mine as the big guy can play his Pan thing.

Hez philosophy class was great. I learned a lot about philosophers and what they said about all sorts of thigns. I also learned what was wrong and how to discover that on my own.

I can ask him any question, and he has something to say to me. I always leave with lots ov learning and with a lot more questions. I hope I am in his class for next years physics class.

Is not as smart as hethinks he is. Does't teach the subject matter, spends his time on philosophy or whines about his life in a physics class. You can tell teaching is not his first choice

His got no notebook. He knows everytning. I asked him a question in Philosophy & answered it in about half n' hour but he knows the names & books. Great course ... great teacher.

I do not care for the man but I do wish I had learned what I learned from him about learning a long time ago. I did well and I am ready for University. I know I did well on his tough exam.

gives lots of talks about Kombat Abkido and is very far by the time exams comeHe does give you snapple and m&m's if you are nice or ask. He gives lots of the work straight from the book

Well... what can I say about Mr.Oja? All I can say is meet him, have your own conversation with him and build your opinion off of that, not by what other people say, (They're probally failing anyways)

Don't talk to him about calculators, or Merlin, or Climate Change, or Aikido, or action movies or just about anything because you will be talking about physics and doing math in a few minutes.

I like him. Don't let other people's opinions of him turn you away from his class. You want him as your teacher, not just to learn the school material but to learn so much more about yourself!

I am at Waterloo again this year, and I remember making medieval war machines in our Grade 12 class. I remember doing a Martial Egg Drop competition too. I liked his class.

knows physics, tends to rant, hilarious, must take class, it should be called life class. if you work hard, you will have a good mark. will beat you up (martial arts). seems unhappy.

Nice guy but lets you know when your on his bad side. FYI ASKING for detentions isn't easy. One of the best years of science I had, dispite not knowing anything about Astronomy!

Don't take philosophy if you are expecting an easy course!! I had to hand in one of my essays twice!! I think that he likes to find mistakes in people's writing because he wrote all over mine.

Great teacher, but if you slack in his class you don't get sympathy. Your mark reflects how much work you actually do. Don't try to argue with him either. A few more exciting labs Mr. Oja!

I had to resubmit my high school philosophy essay THREE TIMES, and I was angry at the time. But, I have my LU marks in front of me, and I have an A average. I can write a fair good paper now!

He met with me, and we spoke about solutions to my son's lack of motivation. He also gave me a large handout of nearly 30 pages. It was filled with ideas and suggestions.

Mr. Oja is a very respectable person (IMHO). He is able to cover the cirriculum effectively while still having time for motivation, strategy, and ... yes!! Martial Arts!!

I find Mr. Oja's teaching technique very useful; he makes science interesting (as if it wasn't already). I must say I enjoy his philosophical analogies more than his defense ones.

He picks on me all the time. He knows more than the textbooks do. Tests are to hard I doubt he can pass them. I put time in my planner to fill out this survey.
