The people that are trying to save his reputation are lying. He is very messy and all over the place. He spends more time telling stories about mathematicians than actually teaching. He's hard to understand. After teaching myself Cal through youtube videos and the textbook I managed to pass his---no, never mind I failed. Good luck.

I had him for Cal 2. He is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about math. It is very easy to follow in class. His tests are very straightforward. I had to read the textbook, do the suggested problems, and do his problem sets and I was ready for his tests. His tests are not hard at all. It is very possible to get close to 100% if you are committed and stay motivated. The final was very hard though. I finished the course in the low 80s.

DO NOT TAKE HIM!! I first saw these comments before this semester and thought people were exagerating. They. Are. Not. He does not teach, he writes notes on an old projector and makes us copy them without explaining, insults students that have genuine questions, is not approachable and DID NOT CHANGE HIS NASTY STAINED PANTS THE ENTIRE SEMESTER! For your own sake and sanity, I beg you to not take him. I tried to teach myself cal but he has the talent to make the simpliest subject complicated.

I can't understand how he's so low. I found his class pretty cool. Tests were fair, decent marker. He's a bit boring and slow but he explains the material pretty well and is passionate by math (and Gauss). The final wasn't all that hard, I showed up to class regularly, did some homework, went over previous finals and got a 90. Calculus isn't high school math, you gotta put in some work and not expect the professor to spoonfeed you the material.

Honestly I liked Mr. Frajberg and people are overdoing it because he's honestly not that bad. Had him for cal 1 and cal 2. He explains well and tries his best to make it as clear as possible. Most importantly, he cares A LOT about his students and wants them to do good. He only has one major problem though. He does not prepare you as much for the final exam because you do easy examples in class and tests are super easy. Trick is to score really good on his tests just in case you flunk the final.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!! He's too old to be good at anything besides breathing. He doesn't explain concepts at all so you have to rely on your textbook and hope you understand something. He really DOES NOT PREPARE YOU FOR THE FINAL. I redid all the practice finals multiple times, but still found my final hard. He admits that he doesn't prepare students well enough for the final but doesn't change his ways to teaching for some reason.

Hes pretty bad to be honest. He tries to help but i think he's so old that he doesnt have the energy to have patience anymore. He needs to retire. I didnt really learn anything in class. He just reads off of the projector and gets pissed when it doesnt work, which is pretty funny. His tests arent a representation of the final, theyre wayyy too easy. If you wanna do well on the final, do all the previous finals multiple times until you know them inside out. I wouldnt recommend.

WORSE CAL 2 TEACHER EVER. He is soooo lost, his notes are UNCLEAR and he literally uses an old projector with the plastic slides to write his notes. His writing is sooo hard to understand. The whole class is basically figuring out what the hell he wrote. If you want to fail you final, get him because half of my class failed. Good luck!!

Tries to make us think he knows what hes talking about but just ends up confusing everyone with his light projected papers he calls notes. run if you want to actually attend cal class. He's knows a lot about math and is very sweet and caring. His explantions are not the best and tests are very easy. DOES NOT PREPARE FOR FINAL AT ALL. Doesn't give notes, is quite messy and disorganized (goes from one chapter to another, skips a part then comes back). Would not recommend if you generally rely on the teacher to learn but you'll be fine if you learn everything by yourself and do the exercices. But, if you have the option to switch, please do!

What sucks is that he's a nice and genuine person, the problem starts when you try following along to his notes or understand the topics. To be honest, he's messy and disorganized. He's very passionate about mathematics in general, he tries to help but don't bother it'll only get you more confused than you probably already were.

I had him for cal 1 as a pure and applied student, really discouraged me to pursue higher level physics (which involve a lot of calculus). He is unclear, messy, disorganized, and very difficult to understand. He explains nothing and expects to you to follow. his tests are easy but he REALLY DOES NOT prepare you for the final. Although, he does genuinely care about his students, and is a nice guy, making him respectable. He does his best.

By far the worst teacher ever. Can't explain for his life, although he has a lot of knowledge to share. He is too old to be teacher and should look into early retirement. He's way too impatient. His tests are very hard but he gives at home quizzes so you always get 100% on these (google is the best tool). That's the only way to boost your average. I would recommend him to a person that's willing to get a tutor and able to study with class notes because class wise, it's not worth going to.

His explanations are average, and the main problem is that students will not study hard for the final because they think it will be as easy as the final. You want to do well in this class? Do ALL the suggested problems from the COURSE OUTLINE' NOTTTT HIS SUGGESTED PROBLEMS. You can easily pass with flying colors if you just put in the effort!! He is such a sweet and caring guy, but it hurts me to say that his teaching style is... lacking in effectiveness.
