I was in Ms. Evans back in mid-2000s. She made math really fun and easy to learn. Because of her, I enjoy doing math homework and studying for it. Thank you for being a great teacher. I've learned so much from you. I've learned that math can be easy as long as you work hard and always practice.
I love her, she's si nice and absolutely hilarious
let's just say that I didn't enjoy math at all in gr 11... SHE DESTROYED my happiness and made me feel dumb throughout the semester. I don't wish anyone the pain she made me feel. If you are unlucky and get to have her, change immediately or become a survivor and stay on top with all your homework, go every morning for extra help and have an other teacher that will teach you what she can't explain.
If you are good at math, and except to have a smooth simple math class if you have mrs Evans, don't count on it. She pretty knowledgable, but it's almost as if she excepts all her students to understand everything to the same degree. She is helpful, but that gets you nowhere because the tests are so hard.
Mrs Evans is a good teacher, she will help you when u ask for it but I found her test a bit harder than her in class work and also kind of long. I felt good doing the work in class then when the tests came It was so long I didn't get the chance to think about the harder questions. And she does not give extra time, I had to beg her like twice to give me extra time and she asked me to come early in the morning. U miss a test don't ask to do it at lunch come early in the morning. But she's good.
At first I didn't like Ms. Evans at all, but she grew on me. Shes really funny and she actually cares about her students. She isn't the type of teacher who will dislike you for not attending class or getting bad marks. On average I missed 2-3 classes each week because I sleep in and she still loved me. She even offered to call me in the morning to wake me up. Shes a hard marker but even with all the classes I missed I got a 70. If you pay attention you will do well in her class.
One of the worst teachers I have had this year. She in incredibly unorganized, EXTREMELY unclear directions. and COPIOUS amounts of work, we would have 5 assignments at a time for Environmental Science, pointless assignments. she lacks common sense. alot of her notes were made up on the spot. by far worst teacher last semester.
Can I just say that calculus and vectors was my favorite class last semester?
Not only was Ms Evans a great teacher, but she made math fun! Great sense of humor, great energy and connection with the class and always willing to help! She seemed to know the answer to any math question thrown her way!
The course was very hard, and it was a lot of work, but I finished with a really good mark. You are truly lucky if you're in her class. Do the homework, pay attention in class and you'll be fine!
She's nice but her course is often really hard to follow. She moves very quickly and assigns a LOT of homework which is often worth marks. Her tests are extremely hard and her marking is...well don't get ANYTHING wrong and you still won't get 100%. DO EVERYTHING SHE ASSIGNS or else the course will not be easy.
She gives a LOT of homework but doesn't check it. If you ask for help she can be quite good but she doesn't give it to people who don't ask or need it. Pay attention and do SOME of the homework and you'll be fine.
i liked her. she knows her stuff, pay attention, it helps.
She is really helpful. She actually cares about her students and I found her very clear. She's also really funny!
Great person, really funny, can't really say I understood anything in any of her classes tho. INCREDIBLY hard tests and a hard marker. Not very hard to fail her class :(
She knows her stuff, but she can't teach. Impossible assignments and unforgiving tests were my downfall in this class...
A nice lady, but is very unclear and doesnt really teach.
She was funny! But a hard marker/ her tests are ridiculously hard, I almost failed her class. But her loong lessons/notes were a good tool to have.
I was always fine in her class. really liked it actually. it is true about the trouble hearing thing though. also, her tests can be quite difficult. her notes are good though. helpful if you ask.
She's a decent teacher, but her policies are pretty poorly thought out. I felt like my mark was constantly being lowered arbitrarily random homework pickups and the like.
Tests are always super hard, messy writing and problems hearing.Only knows how to teach in one style, not effective for more visual learners.
she has her good days and her bad kinda bi-polar but she dosno herstuff if you are wondering about cellphones NO is the answer lol PIks favorites.... seems as though she knits all of her clothing...
A really great teacher: always very clear and helpful. Doesn't take stupid antics, but that's not to say that she doesn't joke and laugh. Makes sure everyone learns the material thoroughly. Loved her!
She is an amazing teacher...she knows what she is talking about and is always there to help. tons of homework, but a great teacher.
She is an amazing teacher...I've learned so much in just 4 days...shes beyond bizarre but it keeps me awake in class :P
Extremely helpful and quite understanding if you get on her good side.
Not the greatest teacher. Seems like she doesnt like kids.
she's super nice even though she does give a LOT of homework.
bh but she gives u markes for doing nothing in TECH class
Very confusing but always there to help. I used to like math...
I love Her...she's such a good math teacher...have to work really hard though
Hey guys, maybe she isn't the easiest teacher, or even the most helpful, but she really does know her stuff and is great when you put in a little effort.
i think that she's really nice and she's a good teacher...she gives too much homework but shes still great.
It's math of course she's a fair marker, but what is she talking about??? data management??? What is that exactly, I still don't understand
She's not a horrible person, but she does get frustrated when the class doesnt understand what shes teaching, and she doesnt explain what she's teaching very well.
