Loved his class, probably without his film class I would have dropped out of ESA. Such an amazing teacher, and an incredible class!

Mr. Johnson is a great teacher who makes the class into a family and the classroom into a second home. this year with him has been interesting, informative, stressful, and fun. He has opened my eyes to things I never thought possible of myself and made me push myself out of my comfort zones to find much more interesting ways of story telling. in the words of "Spinal Tap": "you're on ten of your guitar. Where can you go from there? You put it at eleven..." this year has been an 11/10.

he is actually the coolest guy! Can be tough but if you get on his good side you're set. Seems scary at first but then you start joking with him a week within having him.

I am a graduate student now thinking back he was one of the character to play major role in how I came to love literature. I barely passed the class due to my own faults however I gained what school is intended for theoretically, knowledge. The style he teaches is very abstract and we analyzed endless stories poems etc. If you enjoy personal sensitive style he is not your fellow. I might describe him as a jerk. If ur jealous over attention, again not ur fellow. Over all he is a great guy

Mr. Johnson is by far my favourite teacher ever from my entire academic career. He inspired me to work hard in his film class, and I always wanted to please him even after the 6th rough cut. Although a little critical at times, he's honest to God a sweet man that cares about each of his students success. You rock KJ, don't ever change!
