Papa H was probably the best teacher I ever had. He had a gift of being able to tie the whole band in together. Seeing him gone and the importance of having a fantastic conductor is what really differentiates the band from being good and excellent. His priorities were always in the right place and the care he had for his students was incredible. There are no teachers like him and I miss him very much. Even after he left, he comes in for Sr Stage Band with us, showing his passion for music at LP.
