One of my favorite teachers that I've ever had. She's always happy to help her students in any way she can. I hope she's enjoying her retirement!
Mrs. McRoberts was the best teacher I've ever had. If it weren't for her there's no way i would have gone to University for english. That woman is tough but overall she's an amazing teacher who loved her job. It's too bad she retired, she was one of the few good teachers left.
WORST teacher I have ever had in my entire life. Went from a 93% in English to a 65%. Shes way to confusing, doesn't like to give due dates until that day, and picks favorites. She is very gender biased as well, preferring females over males. (I am female.)
I absolutely adored Mrs. McRoberts as a teacher and person. She was so knowledgeable and I loved her marking techniques. I always knew what to expect from her which I loved.
She knows what she is talking about about and has many guests come in to class to promote better understanding. She is difficult to get information out of, but she knows what she is doing. The only real issue is her allergy to computers, but she extends due dates when necessary because contact can be difficult.
I personally thought she was a great teacher this semester. I found that the people who complained about her were the immature, acting-out kids in the class, and there weren't that many. Probaly the most interesting teacher at Pearson.
I personally don't mind her, but that's because she likes me. If you're not on her good side, then you will have great difficulty getting a good mark in her class. She is very disorganized, and finalizes due dates the day before something is due. She does not have a very effective teaching style, so unless you are a strong English student her class will be extremely frustrating and challenging for you.
she is my least favourite teacher in the school, even though she lets u do rewrites. her stories are boring and she cant explain anything. she gets really lightheaded and almost faints if u spray AXE in her room. overall, she should retire.
She's a great teacher and all, but after a while, you get sick and tired of her hypnotism stories and her "electro-magnetic smog in the iPods" rant. She's not very good at explaining things either.
notably intellegent, sometimes difficult and opinionated but over all pretty good
one of the most knowledgeable, cultured, opinionated and wonderful women I have ever had the honour to learn from. she possesses a quiet, firm nature, an open-hearted acceptance and broad values. i apire to her example.
Kind, respectable, and my favourite teacher. Behave and you will forever have her respect. You can tell she is very intelligent and the best for her position as creative writing teacher. And she has connections with writers!
She's extremely helpful, artistic and sweet. One of my personal favourite teachers.
She helped me to realize my inner creative writing abilities. I loved EWC and Grade 11 English. She is picky sometimes but overall she's a pretty good teacher.
A bit of an artistic scatterbrain, but she's really a very good teacher.
An excelent teacher... gives everyone more than one chance to get it write. I learned a lot from her
She saw my potential as an artist, even though I didn't continue with the program. A bit too picky for me, but overall a good teacher.
I loved Writer's Craft. She's a great teacher and really incourages her students to do their best. She also looks at the creative side in people.
I had her for Creative Writing OAC. I hated the class, but she's a good teacher and a nice person.
