Nice guy, he knows what he does, his exams are fair enough
He is the best math teacher I ever had! He is very clear even is he goes fast enough in class. His handwritting takes some adapting to so if you have trouble I suggest sitting at the front of the class. His exams are all fairly easy and his final is a little harder but you can make sure to have a good average before the final since the tests are easy. He gives 4 quizzes instead of one every week which I really liked. He is the sweetest teacher ever and is often in his office. I recommend him!!!
A good teacher overall; he teaches very useful topics and will make good students exponentially better. However, his lecture style is not very captivating and his handwriting takes a while to adapt to. His evaluations are fair, but beware the final. You better complete every single problem on his problem sheets as they are complementary to his notes (which means that he defines/teaches things on his sheets). If you're going into engineering, his NYC class is a must.
Makes university look like a formality. Watch out about that if you don't love math and are not ready to spend weekends doing math.
Listen and do your work and his class will be a joke! :) He his a great teacher, if your makes effort to be a great student! He understands and loves maths.
The first month makes you question yourself because you don't understand anything. However, after the final, the only thing you can say : 'so good teacher!'
We saw so much in his cal3 course that we are loosing our time in university
MY IDOL ALL THE WAY !!!!!!! Mr Klassen isn't easy whatsoever, but he's awesome at knowing everything you ever dream of learning in CEGEP, and much more.
Not an easy teacher at all, but if you do the homework you'll be rewarded. Excellent if going into math/engineering, you'll go way beyond the other students.
