Mr. Missal was bar far the best music teacher I have ever had. Not only that but he truly cared to make a difference in my life and help me to succeed. Thank you.
My name is Caitlyn Gan and Mr. Missal was the best music teacher I have ever had. He taught me so much about jazz and without him, I don't think I would hold the skill and confidence that I have. He is an extremely skilled musician that dedicates so much of his time to his students. He works relentlessly to create the best musical environment and opportunity for his band students. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate the effort he has put into teaching me and I wish he never left McNally.
My name is Dylan Labossiere and Mr. Missal completely transformed my highschool years. He was my biggest inspiration through music, and was everything i could ask for in a teacher. Sadly, the recent administration change resulted in Joedy being surplussed out of McNally. This is the single worst thing they could've done. He had the biggest part of McNally inside him. He will be truly missed.
Mr.Missal completely transformed my grade 10 experience at McNally high school. His guitar and band classes were the highlight of my year and he was by far the best teacher at the school. He spent countless hours helping students, and doing work outside of school to help the McNally band do the absolute best at everything. When I was in the pit band for fiddler on the roof, he spent hours writing music for me and many other musicians whose instruments didn't have parts written for them. <3 him
He was a great teacher that sometimes had the worse classes. He's helped me develop musically in several ways, from voice to guitar and it sucks that he has to leave this year. I'll miss you Missal, hope wherever you go or whatever you do, you're happy!
He has definitely made an impact on my daughter's passion towards jazz. He is a fun teacher who allows students to explore their own musical talents. He put lots of effort in Jazz band and my daughter looked forward to it every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Missal goes above and beyond to provide a great learning experience for his kids and was a great asset to McNally's band program.
His band class made my years of high school, great guy.
In my experience with Missal, he always gave honest feedback to students about where they should seek improvement and gave a variety of students who really made an effort the opportunity to perform.
Missals a great guy. Maybe he does favour certain people, BUT he favours them because they actually try, and dont talk while hes trying to teach!
Really nice guy, you have to like mr.missal. He might seem strange, but he's one of the nicest guys ever.
Great guy, but he favours a lot. Does not really care about teaching or the students that he doesn't favour.
he made me quit jazz band because i didn't want to be in the "crappy" band anymore. he only cares about the "good" band. favourtism? DEFINATELY.
Whoever said Mr. Missal's an incredible person only says that cuz Missal favours him/her. Missal's not a bad guy, but his teaching skills lack quite a bit.[also picks favourites]
Not a very good teacher at all. Bad explainations, and doesn't really care about teaching students the best. He doesn't know that much, and favours certain students. FAVOURTISM
Missal rocks! I've been done school for a couple years, but he's totally one of my favorite teachers of all time. I still go visit him when I'm in town.
i like him. he's a fun guy. he jokes around alot. and i dunno what to say about the picking favorites thing... it just doesn't seem like he does... i dunno..
