she was probably the worse teacher I have ever had. She picks on you and then she has favorites. she made us do so much homework and never checked it. Shes such a hard marker and never listens to you. If you as her a question she will tell you to "solve that independently" ugh shes such a bad teacher. She is so boring and she gives quizzes on the days notice! She plagiarizes her homework questions and tests and can be seen online, she a hypocrite. Awful teacher SWITCH OUT IF YOU HAVE HER!

In no way helpful. Her work is too hard, she doesn't explain things well and vlames it on the students. Has a failing system of "study buddies." That is really useless. Forces many projects on her students that no one is able to do. Worst teacher i had class with.

She was not very helpful. Every time I would ask her a question she would just tell me to ask my study buddies but when I did go to ask them she would yell at me for speaking. She is not fair in any way. I have never had problems with my teacher before Ms. Szeles. She picks on some of her students including me. She will pick her favourites and the ones left are treated unfairly. One time when I was presenting she marked me down for rolling down my sleeve. Overall she is not a good teacher.

She is really mean, every time I raise my hand, she ignores me. She is a hard marker especially on essays. The only things she says is to talk to your study buddy, and then she explains things poorly. To be honest, I haven't learned anything in her class so far. She should really quit her job, it is sad how the amount of bad teachers is so high. I can only pray that I have a better English class next year

she is such a mean teacher, she barely gives us time to do our work, she moves you even though you're not affecting anybody. She always uses the same excuses, use your projection, take initiative, even though you are clearly doing so.She isn't committed to her job,you can tell because she takes test off the internet. She doesn't show hate towards you that much in class but she does so by the way she gives us homework .I honestly hate having class with her.

I seriously find it outrageous how NOT A PERSON has anything nice to say about her, that sure does say something about her teaching "skills". Stick to drama and start teaching grade 9s, make their lives living hell... Instead of the grade 11s. Assignments aren't clear and time in class seems to be spent on pointless discussions. Her quizzes are hard. Possible to get a good mark, but you'll to be a miniature version of her. Sad.

Not the best teacher (for at least English - no experience with Drama) at Lisgar for sure. She's pretty reasonable with homework, but the in-class experience is terrible. All discussions aren't linear and her marking scheme is mediocre at best. I haven't met a teacher that openly criticizes the students ("I probably spent more time marking these essays than you took the time to write them"). One positive is that she will be there nearly every day for questions, albeit never really that helpful.

She doesn't understand her students. We students don't ONLY have English class, we don't ONLY have English homework, so she should try to create less of a workload for us. The books (excluding Macbeth

she can be really caring, but she is definitely a way better drama teacher then english. expects us to do something but doesn't tell us how to do it. and should really learn that we have a life and that like 20hrs of hw a night is not possible!
