I just got her as a teacher this year and I'm really loving it! I heard mixed comments about her from my friends and most said she was pretty good and she is awesome. Shes pretty nice and she really helps out if your struggling and need help from her. Its only been like 2 months and yeah she's already awesome.

Her tests are all straight from old provincial exams and her final exam is pretty much a print out of an old provincial. Mrs. Rana is the most loving and caring teacher I have ever met! She is always there when you need help, but only if you're on her good side. She can sometimes be easily distracted, but it's okay, because her class is a blast! YOU ROCK MRS. RANA!!!

A great teacher. She really knows what she is doing. Every one is different but I found her easy to learn from. I really hate chemistry and its probably my weakest course but I got an A because she actually taught me well. A lot of people agree with me that she teaches well compared to that other chemistry teacher.

Mrs. Rana is a very smart woman and i believe she has good intentions... But she is too scatterbrained to be a teacher. Sometimes she forgets to photocopy tests and it can take her as long as 15 minutes. She often struggles with technology as well. Also, she occasionally loses or misplaces test, or forgets to mark them after many [email protected]

for all those of you who are harping on how terrible she is, check yourself. there is always a method to why she does what she does. I'm not the best at science and i got an A, from working hard and paying attention. you lot are probably dicking around and not paying attention...her class is not hard..its HARD to get a bad mark actually. so be quiet and go study, you obviously need to do more of that. she's wonderful and always has the best intentions.

IMO, i think she's fantastic but it rly depends on the kind of student u are!ullget hwk. doesn't give retests but her tests are pretty fair. She'll help u,if u show an interest in learning & that u care. Class may start off slow so u gotta have patience w/her. Chem itself contains lots of materials & IT HELPS to preview chem b4 u go to class bc Her notes cover some things but u have 2 do ur part too.Im lucky; My class is small we have no rowdy kids so she don hav a prob with us<3 fav teacher.

Some assignments (visual dictionary, homework quizzes) are a waste of time, but others (chapter summaries, pre-readings) are useful for university preparation. She knows the material, but doesn't always teach effectively (she has good intentions). Somewhat unprofessional at times, always talks about how stressed she is and allows her mood to affect her teaching. Can be helpful if you approach her outside class time. Spends too much time brainstorming learning strategies instead of teaching.

By far, the worst teacher I've ever had. She can be mean, insulting and she doesn't teach very well. She spends the first 15 minutes of class getting organized, then she spends the next 45 minutes going over topics we already learned the previous day. She has absolutely no idea what work she assigned, she relies on the students to tell her what our homework was. If you have her, I suggest you ask your counselor if you can switch your class as soon as possible.

Such an awful teacher, she doesn't know how to teach, it's completely comical how much homework she assigns without explaining any of the chapters main points. She also occasionally does quizzes that include questions such as: If you brought your agenda to class, give yourself a mark. Worst teacher I've seen why isn't she fired or at another school? If anyone reads this and has authority over her, please consider making an act about her.

Literally she is just so frustrating I cry after class. Assigns too much homework without the realization that students have other subjects other than hers. Too many useless notes. Doesn't even answer questions properly. Does not explain homework. Uses textbook way too much. Kinda mean and little bit insulting. Such useless notes that do not make sense with the homework she gives us. Very scatterbrain. Gets off topic wayyyy too much. Needs to learn to teach.

She assigns a lot of useless homework that does not help us learn. Then she doesn't explain how to do it, or what exact assignments we're supposed to do. When you come back to class the next day, she'll ask for some homework that she never assigned, and won't even check the homework you did. She is mean throughout the class, then she acts friendly as you leave the class (way too late to be nice).

She is a nice teacher, however, she always assigns work that is unnecessary, and she gives very little time (if any) to complete the homework in class.
The first 5-15 minutes of class, she is getting all her stuff organized (instead of doing it before class). Then, she'll spend the rest of the class giving us notes (that make no sense). Then, she assigns homework at the end of class, but even though we spent an hour taking notes, its still confusing.

she lost 3 of my tests and then gave me zeros, when she was the one that lost them. she's a good teacher but doesn't teach it in a way we can understand. only if you ask for help shell help you but then you have to ask about the whole lesson which you obviously wouldn't do. she gives so much homework and you even have to do questions for her just so u can get out of class. i got such a low mark in my class because of her, my parents almost killed me. thanks rana.
