I had her for Business Research, 1 of the 3rd year Accounting classes, and it was very painful
She said it herself that the class was basically useless at the start of the year
In class we have taken approximately 7 pages of notes for the whole semester(We only had her 1 hour per week)
In class, half of the time was spent on non class related material
And at the end, she gave us a 15 page report to write about zibi, based on only the notes and the zibi website
We did not learn much in her class. It was actually quite deceiving, taken into account the fact the Business was one of the few courses related to our Commerce program. Lots of classes ended sooner than they should have or didn't happen at all. A majority of what we've seen in class was just common sense and the concepts were seen only on the surface. The exams and assignments were directly applied to business but some exam questions were quite vague since the intro-context did not say much.
Jane is a great teacher, very knowledgable, clear thinking and can always help you. regarding the test, 80% is from what we do in the class, 20% are tricky questions.
Good teacher, however, is very harsh with her marking style.
Jane is an awesome teacher. She really relates well to the students and always uses examples that are relevant to us. She is very helpful but her tests are long and hard.
Good teacher. I'll never forget her talking about the pink elephants at the back of the classroom!
honesty, she is one of the most inspiring down to earth teachers she has alot of business experience and relates class studies to current events easy to talk to and very understandable i miss you jane
Good teacher, very implicated into the student life, very helpful, talks alot tho, long long answered tests :S
