I had Mr. O'Neil for gr9 science, & gr 11-12 physics.
Mr. O'Neil's gets you prepared for University style learning. You need to do your homework every day (I know, shocking!), & you need to be proactive in your learning. Given that physics often builds on concepts from prior units, if you don't understand earlier concepts, you won't do well later. He is tough, but very fair and will go out of his way to help you learn if you ask for help. 4/15 ppl from my class are in med school now.
Honestly I love mr.Oneil and I had him for 2 years in a row. He's hilarious and such a good going guy!!! I honestly wish I could have him again because he really tests your knowledge and I love that!Really makes you want to learn. Keep being awesome.
if you don't understand, he thinks you aren't trying...if you do understand, you're good to go..but he tries and he's not mean or anything
he thinks we all come in to the class as smart as he is, so when we don't get something he blames lack of effort and refuses to help you, but if you get it, he's good, same for most teachers i guess
he trys to be so funny but hes not and he doesnt explain anything just makes you read and answer questions
He's a pretty nice guy, but as a physics teacher, he makes the concepts really difficult and hard to understand.
He knows his stuff but has difficulty explaining it in a way that we can understand, he's very nice and goes out of his way to help you
NOT THE TEACHER YOU WANT TO HAVE!!! He needs to learn how to teach. Maybe he should consider a new job, like a hermit. Go back to teacher's college!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not the best teacher, but knows his stuff and he is a nice guy.
well he claims that he says things in class when he never does
hard teacher, doesn't explain anything so we can understand,
