Hé does not have the proper expectations of a grade 7 student. He also does not teach the proper curriculum and makes things more difficult then they need to be

I had Mr Wessman when I was in grade 8, I am now finishing grade 12 chemistry (30). I used to think he was a bad teacher and None of his teaching made sense, but now that I am completing high school chemistry, everything he has taught me is coming to use. Even the math and such i learned in grade 8 is helping me in chemistry 30 and in physics. If i could give him 7 stars for knowledge I would. He only has a bad rating because most kids are young and dont see how helpful he is. Great teacher.

Everyone who thinks Mr. Wessman's terrible, are the stupid ones, the ones who dont listen in class, or just are annoying
Honestly he isn't the worst teacher. He is funny and really intellectually smart. So calm down and stop complaining. I bet none of you can be better teachers than him ( to the haters). :)

All he did for a whole period on Friday (1 hour) is tell us how we need to get our work done and guilt tripping this girl who has strep throat about not coming to school. He also complaines about how much marking he has to do and all the work he has to do but that's HIS JOB he chose to be a teacher and he picks favourites in the class then assumes everyone else is playing "the game" (that's trying to do the least you can). I'm changing schools next year because of him.

Mr Wessman is ok. I mean he is an enthusiastic person. But he makes us read Dr Seuss and do the cha-cha. The cha-cha? Really. It's insane. And he is always complaining about marking tests and being humble. And I am not going to go into the food he eats. I don't recommend him. He also braggs about his bachelor degree. I am sorry for any future students who have him

Mr Wessman is absolutely not scooshy. He is so unorganized and all over the place sometimes. I'm not even sure if he's a normal person, or a robot. And don't even get me started on his eating. He complains about how long it takes to mark tests, or make worksheets, but it's your JOB. He also talks about is life to much, sometimes I ask myself, is this Math and Science, or his biography?

Mr Wessman sucks. I actually hate him. I have learned nothing in his classes. He treats us like 3 year olds. Patronizing much? His knowledge is clearly there (he constantly reminds us of his bachelors degree) but he has no talent teaching children. Don't even get me started on the stuff he eats! Grade 7 student

I had Mr Wessman in grade 8. I'm now a grade 11 student. This year, I took bio 20 and I learned the things he [tried] to teach us in grade 8 science. None of it helped, even though he *taught* us these concepts, none of it registered in my grade 8 brain so I learned from scratch in grade 11 when I was ready to learn about those concepts.Lucky for us, there were floods in grade 8 so finals were canceled - good thing, because I literally would have failed it.

I do not like Mr Wessman one bit. He makes everything overly confusing and changes the subject soooooooooooo easily. I would actually rather be learning in his class. FOR GODS SAKE. WE READ DR. SUESS IN MATH CLASS. THAT IS NOT RIGHT!!! He definetley picks favourites in your class. He also does things like rub glue on your neck and put a vacuum cleaner on your face. I feel sorry for anyone who has Mr. Wessman.

Mr Wessman was very knowledgeable (and he will remind you regularly with his bachelor degree) however he rarely seemed to share this knowledge with the classroom. He deemed the textbook useless and used maybe two or three pages during the entire year. I found his class easy because of the total lack of material but his exams would test you on information he failed to teach you. When asked in detail he would answer but without prodding i found it difficult to learn much, if anything at all.

Frustrating and he didn't teach us anything useful. Just the same boring concepts everyday and maybe if you're lucky he might go into things you learned in grade four!!! Dances on the table and spits on unsuspecting students(though not on purpose-he just eats with his mouth open-) Gives us inaccurate marks and has definite favorites. Easily stressed and not good at explaining things. Made a lot of my classmates cry. Few people who see the positive side of him, but everyone else . . . . . . ...

He was by far the most eccentric and passionate teacher I've ever had. It's not hard to get a good mark in his class as long as you share (or pretend to share) his enthusiasm. Yes, it's true he doesn't teach the grade 8 curriculum and he entirely forgot about teaching us Math in Math. I would not be able to survive another year like that. That said, I've never learned so much in a class. Keep this in mind if you're struggling with him: in hindsight, I'm so grateful I had him as a teacher.

He is not a very good teacher. We are in Grade 8 and he gives us questions that we can't even understand with concepts that are taught in University, in which we are expected to research ourselves. It's Saturday afternoon right now and I am stuck on his stupid question of his. I hate him. He doesn't explain us anything and if we ever ask him about grades, he says " don't play that game with me" and he gets mad at us. What game? His tests take an entire week to do, and he gives us hard projects.

He is kind of strange but his method of teaching, although quirky, is one of hte best i have ever seen. I did better in his class then any others and I looked forward to his classes cause he made them fun!! He really makes you think and although his tests seem really long and a lot of work you end up learning a ton!!!! He can seem kind of crazy sometimes but thats what makes him a good science teacher!
